Dale and Ash had a connection from first sight as we discovered in the previous book, Awakened. You should read the previous book as a minimum if you want to read this book. This is book 17 of the Steel Brothers Saga. I really didn't know how I would feel about the books featuring the original Steel Brothers children but I must say , just like the others, I was hooked! Dale and Ashley have a similar fated love like Jade and Talon had. Ash receives valuable advice along the way from Jade to win Dale over. The biggest being 'don't push'. As the plot thickens into Dales childhood - can he handle it and can he do it with Ash by his side?...

Part two of the love story between Ashley and Dale. Dale is starting to break down some walls, against his own will and better judgement. They have fallen in love with each other but keep their pasts and feelings hidden from each other for what they each feel is for the other's well being. When they finally admit it to themselves and each other is a very tender and hooray moment. This book gets more into Dales' feelings and shows him getting in tune with himself and letting Ashley into his heart and life, even though he fights it every step of the way. Cannot wait for the third book to wrap up their love story and to see what other twists Helen Hardt throws in there to keep the drama and love alive. These books are super fast reads; I cannot seem to put them down!
