I've read many books on intuition, and this one would have to be one of the best I've read. The author writes in such a relaxed style it's as if she is talking to you personally - unusual in someone so academically qualified (many academics use heaps of jargon). This was a breath of fresh air - really easy reading.
And the content is totally fascinating. I tend to be a bit sceptical about things, and in the beginning I found some of the concepts involved with numbers and chakras rather strange, but by the end of the book I had so much more understanding of how everything fits together.
This is a very practical book for people under stress or feeling down. It has many useful ideas about exploring and experimenting with our perception of life in order to experience more joy and relaxation . I've started using one technique - writing down a few good things that have happened to me each day - and I can already see how it helps build a positive view of my life. Dwelling on positive things is sometimes hard to do when you're programmed (as I am!) to think along more everyday survival mode lines - financial, personal stress etc - but reading and using the ideas in this book has made me realise things can become so much better just by shifting the direction my thoughts routinely take. So overall, I would highly recommend this book. It is not a "fairy floss" book where there are just lots of words and not much to be taken from them - it is full of interesting and enlightening things and well worth reading!
