Product Description

Can Tennant show Jared that age is just a number, and that love is all that matters?

The Rowe Brothers are famous hockey hotshots, but as the youngest of the trio, Tennant has always had to play against his brothers’ reputations. To get out of their shadows, and against their advice, he accepts a trade to the Harrisburg Railers, where he runs into Jared Madsen. Mads is an old family friend and his brother’s one-time teammate. Mads is Tennant’s new coach. And Mads is the sexiest thing he’s ever laid eyes on.

Jared Madsen’s hockey career was cut short by a fault in his heart, but coaching keeps him close to the game. When Ten is traded to the team, his carefully organized world is thrown into chaos. Nine years his junior and his best friend’s brother, he knows Ten is strictly off-limits, but as soon as he sees Ten’s moves, on and off the ice, he knows that his heart could get him into trouble again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! 13 July 2017

Where to begin? Everything about this book was wonderful. The humor was off the charts! The scenes with the brothers and how they interact with each other, with my experiences with my own brothers, was spot on. Name calling etc. The connection between the MCs , Mads and Ten, was adorable and hot and all kinds of feels, all over the place! Mom and Dad? Oh my goodness I loved them too! There is one bad apple in this but He is nothing but a pesky fly, soon squashed I hope. There is one paragraph in particular that had me laughing so hard and loud, my cat came running in the room to see what was up.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this story.
These two authors are perfectly matched and I have already preordered the next book in this series!
Do yourself a huge favor and buy! You will not regret it!

4.0 out of 5 stars New M/M Hockey Series! 12 July 2017

Release Day Review. A new collaboration, a new series. R.J. Scott and V.L. Locey's new series begins with Changing Lines. This is a charming, fun story that brings Tennant Rowe (Ten, the youngest of the hockey-famous Rowe brothers) and Jared Madsen (Mads) together with the Harrisburg Railers hockey team. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the secondary characters definitely added to the story. The only downside was the ending.... I know it's a series, but there were SO many unanswered questions at the end, I felt a bit let down, however not enough to stop wanting more. I won't go into details as that would end up being spoilers. I will definitely be purchasing the next book and continuing with the series, little disappointments do not put me off of a good series :)
4.0 out of 5 stars SLOW heat on the ice 20 July 2017

Tennant is a young and upcoming hockey player with lots of potential. He took a position with the Railers to get out from under his brothers shadows, for which his oldest brother harps on him about. Mads is the seasoned hockey player forced to quit in the height of his playing career due to a heart defect. There's instant attraction between these two but Mads is leary due to a decade gap in their ages. Mads also has a teenage son who he's always fighting with the maternal grandfather just to be in his life. Ten and Mads decide to try a relationship but Mads wants to go slow. It's too slow. Mads suggests kissing and frothing for a month. It didn't seem reasonable and it was kinda boring. There's the prerequisite clueless Russian hockey player (cultural differences between the U.S. and Russia). There's a nice family get together and they seem to accept Ten and Mads with little opposition. I really liked the parts with Mads son. I didn't like the parts with Mads ex father-in-law; he was a controlling jerk. There were parts of the story that didn't flow as well but all in all a good short read. Would definitely recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced and exciting story. 14 July 2017

Great start to an exciting series. Engaging characters, loving and inclusive family dynamics (except for the douche seudo father-in-law/grandfather!), team support and a beautiful committed relationship. What more could you ask for in a great story?
I already pre-ordered book 2 coming out in September. Can't wait to catch up with Mads and Ten and ride the emotional rollercoaster with another Railers team mate's love life!

Hot Hockey romance

What a great collaboration of VL and RJ.

Ten is the new hotshot hockey player who joins the team his brother's friend is now coaching. Ten is all grown up now and Mads doesn't see the little boy anymore but a hot as hell man. Will he cross the line of coach and player to give this a chance ?
