The Bodum Chambord is a true original the classic French press coffee maker designed in the fifties. The only difference in the production process since the fifties is our commitment to the highest standards of environmentally correct manufacturing, which is especially important during the chrome plating process. The frame and lid, made of stainless steel, undergo several chrome plating processes to obtain a durable shiny surface that will last for many years of intense use. Using fresh coarse ground beans with water between 92 and 96 degrees Celsius brings out the very best in all types of coffee. This classic design makes 3 to 12 cups of coffee in just 4 minutes. Available in 0.35 liter capacity.

I love Bodum french presses. This is actually my second, back-up french press because I use it every day. The filter is one of the best French Press filters I've ever found and you end up with very few grounds in your cup compared to others I've tried. It looks good sitting on the bench and makes just enough for 1 large cup of coffee.

It leaves a lot to be desired, the filter isn't locked in so you have to fiddle around just to pour water inside because of the top cover.

However it does make a perfect cup of coffee if you use it correctly. I got this because it was glass and metal / plastic both have potential problems be it taste or health.

Pensaba que una marca como Bodum miraria un poco mas por la salud de sus clientes; lleva una pieza de plástico del número 7, que se recomienda no usar porque lleva bpa, un disruptor endocrino, especialmente peligroso para embarazadas y niños pero también para el resto de personas. Consultad los plásticos nocivos para la salud en google. Podian gastarse unos centimos mas y poner plástico seguro para la salud o silicona de grado alimentario.

Ich hatte jahrelang einen Kaffeevollautomaten, allerdings ging mir der Reinigungsaufwand zunehmend auf die Nerven sowie das Kaufen teurer Entkalkungsmittel. Zudem hätte der Automat einer kostenpflichtigen Generalüberholung bedurft und ich empfand es langfristig als eklig, dass es letztlich Teile der Maschine gibt, die man nicht selbst reinigen kann.

Ich bin deshalb auf diese frech-press umgestiegen und finde den Kaffee sehr lecker, der Aufwand und die Kosten sind minimal und es ist hygienisch und leicht zu reinigen. Ich habe zusätzlich einen Milchaufschäumer bestellt, so dass mir der Kaffeeautomat nicht fehlt. Die Größe der Kanne ist für eine Person perfekt, für Besuch habe ich noch eine 1 Liter Kanne bestellt.

最近ドリップだと美味しく感じないことが多かったので、プレスコーヒ―試してみたくて購入。
お湯入れて４分放置でOKなので、雑な私でも安定した味が出せました。
個人的にはドリップより好きです。
お湯は2回に分けて注ぐという説明を多く見ますが、私は１回派です。
好みの問題だと思うので、好きな回数探すのが良いと思います。

プレスコーヒーの特徴を含むデメリットは
①澱が多い
　プレスコーヒーの特徴と割り切っています。洗う時に金網が歪むと増えるのでご注意を。
②フレームとビーカーの締め付けが少し緩い
　淹れるときは問題ないですが、洗う時落としそうで怖いです。普通にすっぽ抜けます。
③後片付けが面倒
　コーヒーオイルをちゃんと除去しないと次回の味が変わるので、これが少々手間。
　洗う時はお水でなくお湯を使うことをお勧めします。
特に①と③はプレスコーヒーの特徴なので、これが面倒だという方は、購入を止めた方が良いです。

10回ほど使用したでしょうか。
本体ガラスビーカーの下部にヒビが入ってしまっていました。
金属のフレームの下あたりを中心に十字のヒビなのですが、フレームから外してもいないし、落としたりぶつけた記憶もありません。
ビーカー部分だけ交換するか、廃棄するか考えますが、耐久性には問題あると思います。
