Product Description

He’s her patient. She’s his doctor. They shouldn’t. But God, do they want to.

Camden Harris, the famously hot, hulk of a footballer is laid up in a London hospital. But his busted knee doesn’t stop him from running his well-practiced game on Indie Porter—his redheaded spitfire of a doctor. She’s not his type, not even close. But she could be the perfect distraction from the soul-crushing damage this injury could cost him.

Indie’s tired of her naivety putting a target on her back. As a gifted child, she’s let her education take the front seat her whole life. But a fling with a footballer like Camden might be just what she needs to grab life by the balls.

And he could be the perfect guy for the plan she’s been sitting on for over two years.

But when feelings make a final play, there’s no amount of medicine that can heal the damage to their hearts.

This was my first book by Amy Daws, and it won't be my last! I loved this one. It was fun, flirty, had some serious issues to do with each of the characters lives, and was just all round an enjoyable read.

I don't want to give too much away, but the basic plot line as per the blurb, is that the two main characters are Indie; a doctor, and her patient, Camden Harris; one of the top football (soccer for us Aussies) players going around. They have instant chemistry (no this isn't weird insta-love, this book actually works) and obviously being DR/Patient this presents some issues.

The story unfolds in a really great way and has some really awesome secondary characters in terms of Indies best friend and also Cam's family.

I breezed through this one and would love to read more about these guys or the secondary characters to continue the series.

Highly recommend, I couldn't put this down!

I have read and adored everything I have read by Amy Daws, so it was a no brainer for me to read Challenge.

I loved that Challenge was a step away from what she has previously written and from what I have come to expect from her. This is a spin off from the London Lovers series, and while I did not feel like my still beating heart was being ripped from my chest like the earlier ones, it is still quite emotional as our loveles Indie and Cam fight for a relationship.

Cam is the cocky AF soccer star. He could have come across as a real d!ck when we first met him, but to me he didn't do that. cocky and arrogant, sure, but I could feel the scared little boy behind all the bravado.

Indie was just... Indie. Quirky, smart.. and at times just the little bit clueless (not in a bad way though!) At times I wanted to slap some sense into her, but I couldn't help but love her.

This was more than just a love story. It is a story of two people learning how to love, learning that there is more to life than their careers. Learning how to rely on someone else.

I loved that we got to see a bit more of Hayden from That One Moment (one of my favourite books EVER!) and I hope we get more as the Harris brothers stories.

Amy Daws’ books always have excellent presentation-this one is no different: what a fabulous cover, title page, drawings of footballs between scenes etc. Just that little bit of finesse really adds to it. She gives us such brilliant detail and descriptions of her characters; their thoughts and feelings, jokey quips, little details like cheetah print glasses, sherbet lemons, the books they're reading-and the main character makes notes in his books-aaarggh! Even after all the books I’ve read from this author, she still surprises me! All this lighter stuff and then she includes something so raw.

This had a good beginning, I was straight in. It was very readable, it made me want to read on. And like at 2 o'clock in the morning! It was very refreshing that one of the main characters in an adult romance novel was a virgin. I couldn't have predicted that!

I love the different voices for the different chapters: Camden/Indie alternate chapters. I can see this will work very well in audio with dual narration again as she used for ‘That One Moment’. This quickly became a very entertaining read with the will they/won't they, sexual tension. The medical stuff was interesting, I love stuff like this, conditions and procedures I don't already know about.

These books are so much more. They're not just romance books. They’re much more substantial. Many different issues are explored. All very real things that happen to people all the time-but still surprising, not predicable in any way. Plenty of excellent dialogue and you really feel what the characters are feeling. Amy's books have it all from the highest of emotions to the lowest. You become totally engrossed in their lives and that's why you just have to read each next book in the series.

Read on behalf of A Book Lovers Emporium.
You get four sexy footballers in this book! FOUR! Brothers . Sexy.
This book had me chuckling and crying at times. I felt for Cam who wore his heart on his sleeve. I had the feels. Love and frustration is rife.
The brothers are hilarious with each other. Siblings, especially TWINS! Cam and Tanner are so funny and their sister is just such a scream with her 'momma bear' personality.
I can't wait to read about the other family members. The story flowed so well.

Cam is a sexy TWIN football player for a professional London team . Indie is a doctor who meets Cam when he is injured during a game. They are instantly attracted. Indie is a Virgin and has her mind set on losing her virginity. Her best friend Belle helps her compile a list of qualities needed for her first three men. Indie promises no more than that. No feelings, just 'pop' and gone! This suits Cam... until it doesn't. .
You'll have to read to find out what happens.
But I think we all need one of the Harris brothers in our lives.
