The pellets are the size you would put in your smoker, your normal litter scooper will be no help.
It essentially works in the reverse of all normal litter brands.
The pellets break down when wet and do not clump after that, it's designed to filter down not clump for removal, If you have a normal litter tray, you can not filter out the poop and wee from the litter, you waste a ton of good litter and are still left with the wet litter mixed in falling down through it.
Pros: It smells good, cats didn't hate it.
You do need to use a 2 part sieve tray with all wood pellet litters, so best to disregard reviews suggesting otherwise.
