Product Description

The first full length Gypsy Brothers novel from the smash hit author Lili St Germain. Now a USA Today bestseller!

How much is a life worth?

I grew up in Columbia, the daughter of a wealthy drug lord. I lived a life of extravagance, until one day a drug run went horribly wrong and everything came crashing down around me.

I was given away. A payment for a debt. The Gypsy Brothers motorcycle club became my owners, and I did everything I could to survive.

But falling in love with the man who owned me wasn't part of the plan ...

Praise for the Cartel trilogy:

'Awesome job Lili ... I am ready to hop on the back of a bike and join the club!' LiteraryGossip.com

'I can't believe it took me this long to finally pick up this author ... sign me up for more of the Gypsy Brothers!' Jasmine, GoodReads

'Sensational, shocking, compelling and totally addictive ... the best when it comes to dark, brooding and bloody romance' Kelly, Perusing Princesses

I didn't think it was possible to like, like really like Dornan Ross but Lili has made him likeable....I can't wait for the turning point where you start your love to hate him
Ana is a trooper and I can't wait to see her blossom within her new life
John is quiet and reserved, looking forward to seeing his story expand and lead to...well I don't want to spoil it but you'll know if you've read the Gypsy Brother series
Emilio, still hate him...always will
I'm loving this series and seeing how it all began...bring on Kingpin

Lili St Germain has freaking done it again!!!!
Man I want to live in side her brain lol

Again she excelles at dark and twisted tales !
My poor heart can't take much more of pounding away in my chest while reading her books.

I loved the dark romance between Mariana & Dornan , it definitely made me see another side to Dornan that we have seen in the Gypsy Brother series.
I loved that their love slowly grow and it wasn't a fake I love you straight away kinda of book.

Mariana was such a interesting character for me to read I loved that she could be all hard and tough and then crumble when it came to Dornan.

If you loved the Gypsy Brother serise you will love Cartel !!

Cartel is a prequel to the Gypsy Brothers Series. I had to keep reminding myself that since I had read the Gypsy Brothers series first and know what happens in that series. Dornan isn't a nice guy exactly in Cartel but, he is a much nicer guy than in the Gypsy Brothers series and it was interesting to see him as he was in Cartel. And, he was definitely more loveable in Cartel. I can't say more because I don't do spoilers. And, I feel you as the reader can read the synopsis so I shouldn't have to tell you about this story and I should just give you my feelings about Cartel.

I did not want to put Cartel down once I started reading. (although life does have it's own way and I had to go to work) but, immediately picked it up and started reading it again once I was home. The story line just grabbed me and sucked me in. I loved the ending it was a sort of a cliffhanger but, not in a bad way you just know Marianna & Dornan's story will continue in Kingpin. I give Cartel 4.5 OOOOO's (O's for Orgasms).

I don't read this kind of book. I've never read this kind of book. Look at the cover, for Pete's sake. This is not me. I'm hard core dark thriller, science fiction, occasional mystery. So when my friend at Harper Collins handed me the sample of this book, which was about 150 pages of 300, I asked her what she expected me to do with it? Use it as a coaster.

So I designated it to read-in-between-television-shows in the commercials, so that I didn't waste any time. I wanted to see what readers liked about these books. You could have heard me guffaw for several blocks as I read the first fifty pages. I even read some to my husband. "Can you believe this stuff?" I said. "How cliched."

Somewhere around page 100, I stopped watching the shows and started reading the book. Darn, I kind of fell for the male character Dornan, who was the tormentor and saviour of our heroine Mariana Rodriguez. He's a bad biker guy.

By the time I had finished the sampler, I had to sheepishly ask my friend for the full book. I needed to know what happened. Then, thank you, Lili St. Germain, the book ends on a cliffhanger. Now I have to beg the next book when it comes out in 2016.

I'm still not a romance reader, but this is dark romance, and there is blood, plenty of blood, so maybe I haven't totally gone over to the side of light. I gave this four stars. It was a fun, quick and very enjoyable read once you remove it from your read-during-commercials pile. Definitely give it a go, if the plot interests you.

Given to me by Harper Collins in return for an honest review ... the only kind I give.

Read this in a matter of a couple of days - thoroughly loved it. Never knew what was going to happen next. Can't wait for the sequels to be released. Already pre-ordered. I then went on to read Lili St Germain's books about the Gypsy Bros (7 books in all) another thrilling read.

I felt that this was an extension of the 'Grey' series, of which I only read one. The book does not go deep enough to develop characters and a plot. More insight into the racketeers would help and less sex for me. It is just a quick, holiday read. I won't be reading any more books of this series.

This is Dornan and Mariana's story. Wow I'm hooked. From the first chapter that was it. I was reading and I was reading until the final page. And then the final page came and I didn't want it to end, I wanted to rewind and start all over again, to feel those words all over again. You know when you finish a book, but it just stays with you. Well this is it. I thought about the story, the characters and their love, for days after. I don't re-read books very often, but this will be one of them. I have just purchased Kingpin, the next book, but I need to read Cartel one more time, before I start Kingpin and I can not wait. The book is written so well. Perfect characters, words, story and lots of emotions. It's more like a 10 star book in my option. Recommended without a doubt. Grab it, you'll love it.
