A great choice I made because this story was cannot put it down good. This book was brimming with humor, love, family and was absolutely wonderful. Lucy and Tony OMG I LOVE them.
Here is the jist of the story: In book 1 Tony's grandfather NONO promises 3 cousins they will get millions if they marry and have male heir. What he doesn't share is that he never plans to give them the money. He figures that they will be so happy they won't be mad about the money. In this story it says that the two other cousins had forfeited the money because of their love and wifes. So Tony can get 30 million dollars.
Lucy is the woman Tony dated for almost a year. They never lived together or committed but they were friends with benefits. Then one day Lucy disapears. Tony is sad and lonely but never goes after her. The start of the book is that Lucy got an email that Tony was getting engaged and she decides she needs to tell him that she is 6 months pregnant before he commits to his marriage.
Instead of walking into an engagement party she walks into a wedding. Tony is marrying Alice (I guess from book 2) its more about money than anything else and his whole family hates Alice. In fact Nono refuses to attend the wedding he hates her that much. So Lucy disrupts the wedding, Tony's whole family is so thankful, as is Tony.
And thats where the fun begins. Tony has to talk Lucy into marrying him and the I loved the scene where they agree to get married. I am not going to spoil the rest of the book for you but it was wonderful and terrific and I hated that it ended.
Lucy didn't mean to fall in love with Tony. She knew she would never be the kind of girl that Tony would settle for. When she found out she was pregnant with his child, she ran, and took off to Florida. She got a email telling her that Tony was getting married. She knew she had to tell him in person. She spent every last cent she had to make the flight. When she got to the house expecting a engagement party, she froze when she found out she had just interrupted Tony's wedding.
This is a delightful book. You will have to read and find out if Tony, and Lucy have a chance at love. I loved this book, because Tony was never mean or cruel. His mother was wonderful and kind to Lucy. There was suspense. Lucy was a very brave and strong heroine. Her childhood tore at my heart. It made her into the wonderful person she is now.
