This is the second great book in this series. It captivates you straight away as the story is continued where Satan is hunting Eve in England.
Good fast packed action, compelling characters and twists in the plot make for one epic ride.

I really enjoyed this series but found that it was a bit cheesy some times repeating it's self. But wow the story line was great. Didn't want it to end

I waited patiently for this to come out. I loved the first book because of the characters and Aussie content. Loved this book just as much.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Addition To The Series... 13 June 2014
By Christie72 - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
~I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.~

Carnal Desire picks up from the cliffhanger at the end of Book 1 in the series. Eve is on a plane going home to be with her daughter Eve. Little does she know that Satan, Gabe’s evil, twisted, and sadistic brother, is on the plane as a fellow passenger plotting her death. While Eve is on the plane, she meets and befriends beautiful Elle. Elle can see that Eve is distraught and heartbroken. Eve opens up to her and the two become fast friends. Once the flight has ended, the two make plans to meet again. Back at Severed MC, the guys soon realize where Satan is. Will they be able to get to Eve in time to save her? What role does Elle play in helping them find her?

This sequel was on the top of my list to read this year. The beginning of this book had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I loved the alternating of chapters involving Eve and Satan in England and Gabe, Ink, and Cowboy’s race to get to her in time. However, the authors begin using even more alternating POVS, especially when Elle meets the guys. Then, there seems to be a side plot involving the romance between Ink and Elle. By adding all the other plotlines in, it takes away from the continuation of Gabe and Eve’s story and the revenge that Satan is plotting. For me, this interrupted the suspense and pacing of the story. I felt like it was rushed especially the romance between Ink and Elle. Elle was a major character in the book, but yet I felt like I didn’t really know her or how her past affected her relationship with Ink. I didn’t really feel like I knew much about Ink’s past either. I think it would have been better to include a bit about their budding relationship but still keep the main focus on Gabe and Eve. Then, give Ink and Elle their own book. As much as I was disappointed in the pacing and rushed feel of the book, there were other things I did like. There was suspense, especially trying to figure out who the traitor was in the club who kept feeding information to Satan. I didn’t know who it was until it was revealed; I was shocked. One of my favorite things about the book was Gabe’s relationship with Eve’s daughter, Elizabeth. It was perfect and sweet. It was refreshing to see how she could wrap Gabe and these rough and tough alpha men around her little finger. I enjoy feeling the sense of family in the club despite the rough atmosphere they tend to live in. I also like the addition of Prez’s nephew. I am wondering if he will get a story of his own as well. I would also like to see Cowboy get his own book too.

While there were aspects I felt could have been better, I still would recommend the book especially to those who want to know how things end for Eve and Gabe. I will still read future books in this series because I do love the characters, and there seems to be good character development for books about some of the other guys.

4.0 out of 5 stars INK and ELLE stole the series in my opinion...Gabe and Eve who? 9 June 2014
By SEB - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Okie dokie now...I was anxious to read this book because we were left with a giant cliffhanger at the end of the last book and as Satan followed Eve to England, I just knew things were going to get bad.
I was more excited at the prospect of a new couple though...INK and ELLE...OMG...the hottest couple ever to come out of this series in my opinion. Maybe the way Ink is written was so over-the-top sexy...just the fact he is a tattoo artist or maybe it's all the piercings...OH MY GOD...he made this book too hot to handle.
As for the Satan, Angel and Eve drama...very violent, some poor unlucky bystanders lose their lives, and it's pretty clear that Satan needs to die and go straight back to hell where he belongs. He was truly one of the most despicable characters I have ever read in a biker book.
I felt the story moved along pretty fast, even though nothing was left out, it seems like so much was packed into the story that it skipped around a lot. I can't say much else without spoiling...because there are some surprises and twists (not nice ones) and they just need to be discovered by reading. All in all a pretty good sequel with a satisfying ending.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Continuation 9 June 2014
By Submit and Devour - Published on

I have said this before but one of the reasons that I hate cliffhangers is because I feel that part two or three is that usually the author can't recreate that intensity in this next story. Well, K.T and Ava definitely knocked out of the park, they definitely recreated they intensity. You have a fast paced page turner, with lots of twists and turns that you don't see coming. The authors don't do predictable and you need to remember that when reading as what you think may happen will be far from it.

The only thing that threw me a little in the book is that there are upward to 7 pov's in the book; when the first "random" person's pov started I kept thinking "why do I care about this person" at the end it all ties together and the pov's don't get confusing.

Carnal Desire I would venture to say is better than the first and I am definitely looking forward to Justice's story. Oh and yay for no cliffhanger this time!

I was gifted this book from the authors for an honest review

5.0 out of 5 stars hot, edge of your seat goodness 29 May 2014

this is the second book in the Severed MC series, and let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. Ava Manello and K.T Fisher's story will have your heart pounding from the hot passionate get down and dirty sex scenes and the edge of your seat, low down and dirty actions of the evil, vengeful Satan as his rampage against Angel and his MC heats up to horrific, heartbreaking proportions. This story just get better and better. with characters you cant help but love, and some you'll hate, Carnal Desire is a book you wont be able to put down, that you will love from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic sequel 30 May 2014

Loved this sequel to Severed Angel. Starting where Severed ended, this had enough action, romance and humour to keep me hooked from page one. Loved the characters and storyline and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through it. Loved getting to know Ink better and there's a new arrival that i, for one, can't wait to read more about. Fantastic book ladies.
