Product Description

Darn it, a man had his pride and a caribou a certain majestic presence, all of which could wind up ruined if he abased himself to play a simple-minded reindeer in the town’s Christmas parade.

No way was he wearing tinsel in his antlers.

Like heck was he sporting a red nose and pulling a sleigh.

But he changes his mind when he meets the woman in charge of the event.

Single mom, Crystal, is doing her best to offer her daughter the best Christmas ever. It’s their first in Kodiak Point, and she’s not about to let some vain jerk ruin it.

If playing dirty is what it takes…then bring on the Christmas games.

As Crystal and Kyle butt heads, they discover more than goodwill this holiday season. They’re gifted with a second chance at love.

The first few lines in this book say it all. But do you recall the most vain ex-soldier of all.
Kyle is just wonderful in this book, he is just so endearing and weird about everything and talks in mission terms to himself to help him cope with things. His mission list was so funny.
Crystal is a cougar shifter with a daughter Gigi who wraps Kyle around her little finger and sooths his hurt heart. The banter and snark between Crystal and Kyle was the best ever.
His carry on about being Rudolph was so funny.
Loved the whole Christmas theme and the Epilogue was superb.

This series has to be re-read time and time again for the sheer enjoyment each book brings.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Never Stop Believing" 17 December 2014

Caribou’s Gift (Kodiak Point) Eve Langlais

Just finished Caribou's Gift and I absolutely loved it. What a great warm and fuzzy Christmas read it even brought tears to my eyes. Little Gigi stole the read and melted my heart. A little girl brought a big sexy Caribou to his knees and melted his heart. "Never Stop Believing” Totally loved the huge surprise at the end Christmas morning. It gave me chills and choked me up. I totally loved what you did in the Epilogue with the Christmas Carol. Huge smile on my face and it made me giggle. This will be my review. No Spoilers this is a MUST READ and enjoy the book from start to finish. So grab your wine or Hot Chocolate or Coffee and enjoy the ride. I wish I could give this 10*

Can't wait for "Wolf's Capture" release. I love this series

Take a self-satisfied shifter male, add one female with the need to give her daughter the perfect Christmas, and throw in an Alaskan shifter town to create Langlais’ fun, funny, and fantastically sizzling novella. This fast paced, quick read is perfect for any time of year. The dash of suspense kept me on my toes as an explosive romance built between the main characters. Langlais had me laughing from the first page.

Kyle’s fun loving exterior and wounded heart combine with his warrior self to create the ultimate hero for this novella. Even if he weren’t so drool-worthy, his personality would have me falling in love with him. The way that he thinks in ‘missions’ not only made me giggle but also gave a lot of insight into his personality. Crystal’s protective nature doesn’t negate her need for a mate, yet the way that we get to know her was so intriguing that I couldn’t help but want to know more. And the best surprise in this cast was a little wee one who had my heart in her had from the moment I met her. As much as Crystal and Kyle’s relationship had me swooning, this tale was about so much more than just them.

This novella is yet another fantastic addition to Langlais’ shifter world. It can be easily read on its own or as part of the Kodiak Point series, but it definitely must be read.

Omg! I cannot express enough how much I loved this book! It pasted a smile to my face from first page to last, and even managed to sprinkle many moments of laughter in between. Kyle is just plain freaking awesome and seriously one of a kind. Thank you Eve for putting him down on paper, because every lady deserves the chance to read about his "Mission #7__". Both Crystal and Gigi were so deserving of his character and you could feel how blessed he felt by them. Beautifully done! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

Mission #732: Improve my reputation as a badass so people don’t make stupid requests.

Kyle is, to use a well-worn word, vain. Self-obsessed also works. Oh, and rabidly addicted to his man card, of course. So when he is asked to play Rudolph in the Christmas Parade, pulling Santa’s sleigh, well, he is highly insulted. Hum … I wonder how much insecurity there is in there along with the vanity.

Of course, when he meets precious little blond-haired, green-eyed Gigi, his outlook starts to change. Of course, her gorgeous, cougar shifter mum, Crystal, could have something to do with it. Then, when Crystal’s cruel, obsessive ex shows up, Kyle’s protective instincts slam into overdrive.

Caribou’s gift is another of Eve Langalis’ incredibly fun Kodiak Point series. Short, funny, fun. It is the perfect short read for a relaxing evening. How fun!
4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet sexy Christmas...Review by Christine 2 September 2016

So cute! 4 Stars!!!!
"Caribou's Gift" Kodiak Point Book 3.5 is by author Eve Langlais, an author I recently discovered. I love her books so far and this series is great. Full of suspense, mystery, and romance with hard and emotionally bruised heroes. However this book is lighter. A sweet Christmas story that gives a break to the drama going on in Kodiak Point.

Told in dual POV's

So as I was "Caribou's Gift" we revisit friends from the previous books; this one is lighthearted, humorous, romantic and a fun, sweet read. For the one hundred pages that is this cute story, we have none of the continuing drama that has been seen in prior books of the series. No explicit danger or drama. I will say there is a tiny bit of suspense toward the end, just enough to add to the story in an emotional way.

This sweet Christmas story features Kyle, a caribou shifter, and the woman he wants to make his. Crystal is a cougar shifter. To add even more sweetness to this book is Crystal's precious little daughter, Gigi.

As soon as Kyle and Crystal meet, sparks fly. Not all good either. Crystal is in charge of the town's Christmas parade and when Kyle refuses to play "Rudolph" red nose and all, Crystal is not happy. Of course Kyle tries to get back in her good graces except he still refuses to wear a red nose and have his antlers decorated. What follows is fun and romance and one determined Caribou to have his cougar. But not only does Kyle want Crystal, he realizes he wants Gigi too. Nothing is going to stop this sexy shifter from having his family!

Even though this was a short, quick read, I loved it. Eve's characters are well developed for a novella. I smiled, I teared up and I fell in love with little Gigi along the way. What's not to love? She was adorable. This was a great addition to the Kodiak Point Series even though it didn't have all the danger and suspense.
