Product Description

Living in Jackson’s cold embrace, Serenity no longer remembers who she is. Repeat feedings have left her a mere shell of a person and she has no recollections of her past life, though the sense that she isn’t alone often haunts her.

Back in Los Angeles, Sebastian has never given up hope of finding her again. Their daughter, Elizabeth, experiences visions of Serenity’s new existence and together they track her across the country.

But finding Serenity might prove to be the least of their problems. When Sebastian seeks the help of an older vampire, Demitrios, the family find themselves in the fight of their lives.

5.0 out of 5 stars Captures Your Heart 22 August 2013

"Captured" is the 3rd book in the Serenity Series. I love this book, this series and this author. In "Captured" Serenity has been captured by the zombie of her husband, Jackson, and is made to serve him as him nomadic slave. Sebastian and Elizabeth search for her constantly, and finally find and rescue her, but as a result of her trauma, she has lost her memory. Sebastian consults with an ancient vampire, Demitri, to find a cure and pledges to give him anything he has in exchange. Unfortunately, once the deed is done, Sebastian learns that what Demitri wants is Elizabeth!

This was one of my favorite books in the series. Sebastian and Serenity finally get a little time to enjoy each other, but we know it won't last long! I recommend this book and this series if you enjoy a sweet paranormal romance, along with some nail-biting suspense.

3.0 out of 5 stars Boring! 11 October 2012

I have to say I am really disappointed with this last installment of the series. I took 3 weeks to finish the book. The first 2 books had me grippiing my Kindle in deperation for the story to unfold! This was so bland compared to the other ones.

First of all let me just ask what happened to Sebastian the vampire? He was Sebastain the man in this book? His thinking was so totally not vampiric! For example if your daughter can see the future and she is dreaming of a bad man, why wouldn't you ask hmm, what does he look like? That way you know not to go there or do that. That's something a normal person might not think of. Serenity had more wits about her. Maybe that's what the author was trying to convey but after having Sebastain be the lead for the first 2 books, this was a loop.

It was an ok read but I wouldn't read it again...
5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! 12 September 2012

The whole series is a really great read! I love series stories and am always looking for a new one. I stumbled on this one on an Amazon recommendation and am now a huge fan of Farrar. The story line is new and fresh. Farrar brings her charactors to life and makes you feel what they feel and want what they want. There were actual times I had tears in my eyes while reading, not to mention getting spooked and looking over my shoulder. I'm in my 50's and have read an average of 4 books a week since I was 16, I have very hard list of my top 5 writers, Farrar may just have knocked one off it's place. I am looking forward to reading more from Farrar, it is exciting for me to find a new writer, and let's face it, at my age excitement is a rare thing! Hopefully my husband will never see this! LOL!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Awesomness! 20 October 2012

Pure Awesomeness!

Loved Captured! The third book in the serenity series did not disappoint! Sebastian, Serenity, and Elizabeth's story picked up where Buried left off it held me as the story unfolded and kept me turning the pages!

Jackson's evil thoughts, and doings were just as gripping as in buried maybe even more so! The danger changes with each book and in their own rights they are equally nail biting!

Will they ever have their happy ending or will their lives being intertwined continue o put them all in danger? I guess we need to keep reading to find out! Can't wait for the release of the next book in the series!

Highly Recommend the whole series! I do however recommend you start with book one, Alone.
