I wanted more of the sexy as sin Jakob and Captured not only gave me more of him and Kate but Falon and Rita. This story digs further into the reason that Kate's neighbour is so set on her marrying him and he will not let her new man Jakob stand in his way. As the Hell Raiders MC are employed to capture Kate and deliver her to Alexander it also gives the President of the MC Kellan the chance to exact his revenge on Jakob. With Falon and Rita there to lend a hand Jakob and Kate go into the battle of their life. This book gives us not only life defining love but the grit and suspense of an MC book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great finale!!! 24 April 2015

Great way to finish the series!!! It all came to head with this book. It wrapped up Kate and Jakob's story with the intertwining of Rita and Falon's story. The story picks up where Kate and Jakob's story finishes: The budding relationship between the two. Just when they to finally settle in and think they can get some peace Jakob is struck down by a bullet, while Kate looks on. Falon and Rita race to stay a head of Kellen and his motorcycle gang because they overheard Kellen agreeing to take a hit out on Jakob. Kellen has had a grudge against Jakob since their days in the military and wasn't too hard to persuade him to take the hit. Once Kellen sees the backer of the ordered hit and hears what he wants him to do he's not really down for that, but he wants to go through with it just because he has a grudge against Jakob. Things don't go the way Kellen has planned them. The ambush works, he captures all four of them, but that's where it stops working. Jakob escapes and luck would have it he's on his uncle's property. Jakob has a stash of weapons and knows the layout of the land. He then proceeds to pick off all of the motorcycle gang members holding Kate, Rita and Falon hostage. Thankfully they escape relatively unscathed.
This story is full of angst, hot cowboys and some rowdy bikers. The culmination of the story goes out with a bang. Written from 5 different POVs Aden Lowe really does a fantastic job of building of the relationships between the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone who will listen.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing Ending to The Hunted Love Series!! 29 March 2015

Where do I even start? Ok, I'm not going to recap the book because you can find the synopsis above. That being said, Captured: Hunted Love #3 was phenomenal! I loved Big Game: HL#1 and Bounty: HL #2 and Captured was a pound of icing on a really delicious cake!

Usually when I read a book with more than two POVs I notice some things. The characters either all use the same vocabulary, and have similar personalities or they are very one dimensional and the book gets confusing, making me dislike the book and really consider reading any of the author's work. Well, having read Big Game and Bounty, I was eagerly awaiting Captured. Big Game had been written from two POVs and Bounty from three. Each flowing seamlessly, not the least bit confusing and written with such detail, I couldn't help but connect to each of the characters. Imagine my surprise when I realized Captured was written from FIVE POVs. It took me a while to realize it because having been familiar with all of the characters, I was immediately sucked into the story. I don't mean a great book that I loved, I mean being in the middle of the story, feeling everything the characters felt, whether it was confusion, anger, love, lust, heartbreak, sadness, fear, all of it!

Another thing I loved about Captured is the blending of two worlds. Western Romance and MC. the author did a phenomenal job telling the story from both genres and they blended seamlessly. I am amazed. That is all I can really say! I wasn't a fan of Western Romance because I can't relate. I'm a city girl who has had no experience or knowledge of what it takes to run a working ranch, so reading about it didn't really interest me......until I started this series. In a way, I'm a little sad that this series has reached its conclusion. The guys are so hot! Even the antagonist! The sex was tasteful but still white hot!! The pure love between the characters was beautiful and 'watching' how the heroes protected their women was amazing. Giving me a view on true love and desire.

I wish I could give Captured more than the five stars that's allowed because the way this book is written is sheer brilliance. I've never seen anything like it!! I'm really looking forward to whatever the author releases next!!
3.0 out of 5 stars Finally the conclusion of a good story 2 June 2015

This is the final book of The Hunted Love series and I really enjoyed it. At the end of the 2nd book we get to know why both books are part of a series. The idea to mix cowboy, military and biker genre was well executed and I was able to read all of them.
I particularly enjoyed the horse scenes, they were beautifully written and I can tell the author loves horses. I could imagine them and the words he used allowed me to do that.
I'm a picky reader, I need congruence when I read. The plot, the characters, the scene, etc have to have a reason and I can take as many plot twists as the author wants to give if there's congruence. Regarding this, the first chapter had me rolling my eyes when a POV changes all of the sudden. There are a lot of POV in the book since there are many characters involved, but they were stated at the beginning of the chapter (Chapter one: Jakob). However, I found in 2 chapters how it was supposed to be Jakob's POV and at the end it changed to Kate's and in another it was Rita's and in the middle it changed Falon's going back to Rita's. As I said, I'm picky and I tend to remember things like this.
I have other issues with the plot that might be considered as spoilers so be aware before continuing reading.
I don't get Falon's involvement in the plot apart from telling Jakob and Kate that part of a MC was going their way. I mean, Rita was more useful with her cooking skills than him. He was kind of a second male but he never did anything but get wounded. His book was good but in this book I didn't get him. It could've been done over the phone and I don't see the result changing that much. However, I did enjoy his relationship with Rita and how the trip helped them to get a more solid relationship. Maybe he'll have a part in Kellen's story? I can only hope.
Then, the end was really exciting with all the action and Jakob going commando to save the day. However, I never understood why they went to Jakob's uncle house and it was never said. I can only think it must've been convenient for Jakob knowing the layout of the place and where to find guns to defend themselves. I really want to know why they travelled hours instead of taking care of business where they were.
Those things can be spotted with beta readers since it's a huge whole in the plot and I think that's really important.
At the end, I enjoyed the book, the development of the couples' stories and Kellan. I really like his bad ass behavior and I'm looking forward to read his book.

A satisfying ending to a great story!

Getting the POVs of the key players gave a greater depth to the tale as it built up to the confrontation.

Jakob and Kate fall into an easy rhythm (no pun intended – HA!) after solving the mountain lion problem. They're enjoying their time together, but there has still been no mention of the future, and tragedy strikes before that conversation takes place.

Falon and Rita, find out that Falon's bounty, Kellen, is heading straight for Jakob and Kate, and put in some long hours on the highway to get to his old Army buddy first. They're sidelined for just a bit to help two siblings with a serious problem. Falon and Rita are both hiding their true feelings from each other, fearing rejection...and not wanting to “upset” each other's lives. Just too precious! I love these two!

Hell's Raiders leader and the man with the bounty on his head, Tom Kellen, is a good, solid villain who seems to be in conflict with himself (mid-life crisis? Is he old enough for that?)...not enough to turn around and go home, and it didn't stop him from taking aim and pulling the trigger (GRRR!)...but conflict all the same. His thoughts went from the murderous to the hilarious, and his description of Alexander's choice of apparel...and the golf cart...had me laughing out LOUD for real!

Alexander – punkass! Didn't suffer enough for my tastes. I would like to have been there for his takedown...and Kellen's “lesson”.

What resonates with me through the “Hunted Love” trilogy – and especially in “Captured” is the balance in the burgeoning relationships. Without a doubt, Falon and Jakob are alpha males, but they have no need to “bend women to their will” or control every aspect of their lives. Actually, they take pride in Kate's and Rita's abilities to lead and take care of business. They take a step back without fear of being emasculated and all that other garbage some males go on and on about. So unlike the men in their pasts, this goes a long way with Kate and Rita.

I liked how the couples ended...but would have liked a bit more flash-bang with each couple...especially Falon and they looked to the future. Some over-the-top, shamelessly gratuitous display of undying love...but then, I want that in every story! HA!

The “Hunted Love” trilogy was a great ride, and I'm sorry to see it end. Get comfy and take the journey for yourself!
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Ride!! 15 April 2015

When the chance to review Captured came along I could not pass it up. So glad I didn't let this read pass by. I was blown away what a great read this one was; the suspense alone will keep you turning the pages to find out what is to come.

You are pulled in to one wild ride when Tom takes on a mission to take out Falon old army buddy Jakob and his new love interest Kate. Falon and Rita take to the road in hopes of getting to Jakob and Kate in time to help. Kellen has a boiling hate for Jakob back from when they were all in the military. The clock is ticking will Falon and Rita get to Kate and Jakob before it's too late or will Kellen finally get his revenge.

This a 5 Star read all the way around. Tom is going to have you hating him even more then you thought you could. Jakob and Falon are going to have you melting in their hands. These two are so hot they burn the pages of this read. Kate shows us just how strong a little package can be. While Rita proves once again she is willing to go to battle for the ones she holds dear to her. I will say I was a little disappointed I wanted to know more about how things work out for Falon and Rita. We might just get luck and get to revisit them all somewhere down the road.

Job well done Aden, you have delivered again as always, you have some amazing talent! Looking forward to more of your stories!
