It’s not so much about the money but more about the time lost. I am quite unhappy wiith myself at having been lured into buying this book based on the authors’ reputation. It’s a parallel version of a praise of the Soviet Union written by a staunch communist party member but this time the subject is America and one author a famous American. Praise, praise and only praise, ad nauseam!
In this enumeration of the US success there is no limit and no mention of a large population under the line of poverty surrounded by such huge prosperity, daily gun violence and a decaying or absent infrastructure. Mind you, I am a staunch pro capitalist of the free market type.
Enumeration of America’s success up to the point of boredom is what it’s all about as if written by a scrupulous accountant.
And the style is that of an accountant with long enumeration of a success story already told numerous times.
Certainly not the material for a Nobel or any kind of honest prize whatsoever.
