I bought this book mainly to read from my ipad or Kindle Cloud Reader on the computer, which I can see in colour. I can also print out the recipes if I want from the pc. I did the CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet and lost 6 kg, so was very interested when this book came out, however, I wasn't prepared to pay a large sum for the diet, just needed the new recipes and information. Therefore, I think the Kindle version is a good buy and have no qualms with it not downloading perfectly on the Kindle itself as I'll probably never look at the book from there.

This book is reproduced page for page which makes it far too small to read on my Kindle paperwhite. I even have problems reading the type on my laptop. Great book but wasted on Kindle.

Finally an eating plan devised from good science. A Mediterranean diet is not pasta and pizza. Green leafy plants and healthy lean protein together with liberal good fats are its basis.

Just to let you know, this is just a .pdf fashioned into an e-book. There's none of the functionality that kindle books usually offer. Still reading the content, but the format was a disappointment.

I just purchased this out of curiosity to see what they say. I have been on a LCHF diet for 4 years & my health has improved dramatically. I think if I had followed this I'd still be in the same unhealthy rut. The CSIRO talk of low fat yoghurt (& for me foods contained loads of sugar). Trying a low fat low carb diet has been scientifically proven to fail. Your body can't do low fat on low carb. It needs nutrients that one obtains from healthy, saturated fats.

First diet book I have ever used which tells you exactly what you need to know. However the diet is very salad heavy and this is rather expensive in this country in the winter.

Great content, poorly executed
Reviewed in the United States on 11 June 2017Verified Purchase
Content is great and I have a lot of confidence in CSIROs scientific approach. Its just a shame that they didn't put the extra effort into utilising the full capabilities of the E-book format. Can't use the table of contents, book marks or anything. It would also be great if the text included hyperlinks to different sections of the book, because the nature of it is that you need to jump back and forth a lot. Hopefully a revision will come out soon, better still an app that creates shopping lists for you.
