1 x ATX CABLE 24 PIN (20+4)
1 x EPS/ATX12V 8 PIN (4+4)
But when I open the box and check the contents, the supposed (4+4) pin connector is actually a fixed 8 PIN connector and not compatible with my motherboard.
frustrating to have all the components to build a needed system but needing to troubleshoot cable management between listed contents and actual box contents.
Is the product description wrong? Did I get a previously returned item? Do I have to buy another cable? What a hassle.
Tonight, I was browsing web and PC turned off on me leaving only my RGB ram glowing.. Tried to boot and nothing was working. The only way I could force a start was to use a screwdriver with the 2pins of the power switch. My RGB ram would lighten up but nothing else.
I stripped everything to make sure it wasnt a component. Only CPU power and mobo power was connected. Nothing happenned either so I pluggued in a cheap PSU I had for years like in the photo and PC booted fine. Its probably badluck PSU. I have faith in corsair quality so thats why I didnt give a 1 start review. I will see once my replacement arrive.
Update: The PSU died on me after 6 months of use. Completely melted on the inside even on a cooled room. I've sent it to Corsair and it's been almost a month now that I'm still waiting for a replacement that will only be shipped when the PSU is in stock. Poor support and warranty.
allegations against this product are
1) cheep cables
2) they send wrong product.
In my experience i got what i ordered. The quality of cables are extra ordinary. I had Cooler master 350W power supply before i felt more qulity on RMX1000.
burned cable? i don't think so.. because it have much better insulator than my previous one and that SMPS didn't burn my house down.
i found only 1 negative on this product that is the power cable which is in EU standard. I already have a spare power cable. so keep in mind you need a Indian standard power cable or a plug point...
If your PC need 1000W power go for it... it worth every penny ...
IT DOESN'T HAVE INDIAN STANDARD POWER CABLE, YOU MUST NEED EU TO INDIAN CONVERTER OR PLUG POINT
Shipping and product were super awesome. 2 day delivery, Incredible price..
This is a strong and reliable power supply and a 7 year warranty if it is not operating as advertised, in which they will replace it.
It has 5 SATA connectors and 2 PCIe connectors, as well as an EPS/ATX12V cable, and the ATX cable
There are 4 peripheral connectors and 1 floppy cable.
The problem I have with the 5 SATA connectors is that one cable has 3 connectors on it, allowing you to connect three hard drives on one cable, but the connections are very close together, so it is very awkward to connect the hard drives. The same goes for the other two, which are also on one cable. The distance between these connectors needs to be larger. Sorry that I do not have a picture to illustrate it! But I really did have trouble connecting my drives this way and the cable design needs improvement.
Otherwise, power supply is fine, just needs better cables.
Using ultra quiet Corsair 120mm case fans, I seldom, if ever, hear those spinning, so I know this PSU fan is making the sound during my PC's operations.
If you want a reliable PSU to get you into a "better than most others" class, try the RM750x 80 Plus Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply. She is good to me and her factory twin should prove the same for you.
It talks about in the specs that you can switch from single-rail to multi-rail configuration and after extensive research I can conclude this is literally just marketing BS. It literally changes nothing in terms of performance or efficiency. It might mean something in rare situations but nothing to the average consumer.
Ci non il est super. Il fais pas de bruit il alimente bien les pièce de mon pc

In my experience Corsair is a brand that you can trust and rely on for longevity, durability and quality. I am certain that this unit will be no less reliable.
Its quiet too. Oh and the cable set it comes with is very nice with good quality connectors.
