Drops charge rate after being plugged in for a while

This worked so well out of the box. But after it had been plugged for a few days, one evening I started charging my phone and in the morning the phone was not fully charged. In fact it was only around 50%. This is after 8 hours of wireless charging. When I used Ampere to view the charge coming in, it was very low - about 50mA. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in (I'm using the charger and cable that came with the unit) and immediately the wireless charge went back up to over 1000mA. I've since found I need to unplug and plug back in every few days to avoid this happening. Very frustrating.

I bought it as a desk charger for my galaxy s20-plus. For the first few days, it would take about 2 hours to do a full charge which was reasonable - and all was well.
However, now it takes 4 hours for a full charge - plugged directly a wall socket with cables provided, with and without the slim phone case on.
A few other reviewers have also noted a big drop in charging speed after a short period.
Not recommended.

Great looking & operates very well.
As a stand by the bedside it’s great to hold up the phone - even the big sized phones. Using it mainly with the Samsung S20 FE.
As far as charging ability, it works great . I use it with a folding type case & works well. With the Samsung the phone display will show the charge amount on the phone & how long to charge - very handy. The three green LED on the charger also provides an indication that charging is still in progress & turns off when fully charged.
Have also used for our other phone - apple 11pro. Also charges well with the bumper case installed. Unfortunately with the apple phone it does not show progressive charge & the case LED does not go out when fully charged. This is not a fault of the charger but the apple phones....
Charging speed is very good. But I typically just put it on the stand before going to bed each night & it ready to start the day in the morning.
Highly recommend this charger.

I bought this charger for my Pixel 4, and have had it now for around 3 months. Overall it works well, and charges my phone quickly, and through its case. Charge time varies, but around two hours seems to get my phone from around 30% to above 90%.

Unfortunately, there are a few issues with the charger that hold it back from a five star review, in my opinion. The worst issue is that after taking the phone off the stand, the power adapter starts emitting a very noticeable, high-pitched buzz. The only way to make it stop is either by putting the phone back on to charge, or by disconnecting the cable (or powering off the charger). It's probably not the sort of thing that would annoy everyone, but in my quiet office I find it too loud to tolerate, and end up disconnecting the cable when charging is complete. I contacted Choetech and their response was that this is normal behaviour.

Secondly, you need to be fairly accurate with where you place the phone on the stand. On more than one occasion, my phone has not started charging after putting it down, even though the display did the "wireless charging" animation when I put it down. If I take the phone off the stand, then put it back closer to center as possible, it starts charging correctly. This happens about one time in 10 - not enough to be annoying but still worth mentioning.

Overall, I would recommend the product, but I will try and find a less noisy plug to power it.

Does not charge Huawei P30 Pro or iPhone

The Huawei uses 15W fast charge wireless, so I bought this hoping that I could use this facility on my phone at my bedside. When the charger is plugged in, the phone will vibrate, screen will say it has started charging, then after a few seconds, it will then repeat the whole sequence again (vibrate, light up, and then stop again) ad nauseum. When you are aiming for a bedside charger whilst sleeping, having the phone vibrate and light up every 5-10 seconds gets a bit annoying and makes sleep pretty hard. I tried to plug the wireless charger through the OEM Huawei wall plug adapter provided with the phone and the same occurred, so it was not the CHOETECH QC 3.0 adapter included in this bundle.
My wife also tried to charge her iPhone and it didn't even charge it - despite saying it was charging, the battery percentage hardly changed after being left overnight.
Don't waste your money.

Doesn't fast charge Galaxy S20

Hasn't been able to fast charge my s20 from the start. Using the supplied fast charge adapter. When I first got it, the phone would flash "fast charging" quickly, and then switch to normal charging. Now I'm getting a notification on the phone saying that the charger is not compatible with fast charging and that the phone will charge at standard speed. Works ok at standard charging, but I bought it for the fast charging, so a bit of a waste of money.

Works only with a very thing case for iPhone 11 and also does not work in landscape.

While it works fine in portrait and with a thin case, I wouldn’t buy this again as I have had other brands of chargers that work with my thicker case in either orientation. Disappointed as I was hoping to get something that works for all my cases.
