Product Description

Love has no expiration.

The morning Beth packed her bags and walked out of Cole’s life was the day he swore the only girl for him would be the six year old who called him daddy. He didn’t have time for love, not between raising his baby girl and trying to figure out what the hell he was going to do with his life. But fate has a funny way of coming around and kicking you when you least expect it. Cole’s new life was no exception.

As a product of a severely broken home, Beth Doan knew better than to ever get married. She’d seen what that commitment did to people and she loved Cole McClain too much to let marriage destroy them. But the minute she boards that bus she knew she was making the biggest mistake of her life. Only maybe she wasn’t, not when she goes running back home to the only man she ever loved and finds him in the arms of another woman.

When an unexpected accident throws them together four years later, the last thing either anticipated was to become responsible for a little person who needs them a whole lot more than they need their bitterness and hurt feelings. Can Cole and Beth forgive and forget long enough to save the life of a child neither one of them predicted falling in love with?

Or are some wounds just too deep to heal?

This book is adult and intended for a mature audience.

This is a nicely written book with solid, likable characters. It's Cole and Beth's story, continuing on from Sloan and Lily. The children, Calla, Willa and Damon were an important part of the narrative.

After a situation places Cole and Beth in close proximity, the plot went in an unforseen direction which was the catalyst for the couple finally reuniting, but after that, it was pretty predictable. Certainly well worth a read, though. It was good to see a stronger and more mature Cole step up to be a hero.

***a couple of editing errors here and there, like; Demon for Damon and Beth had burns that were still healing one day, but she was bathing a child the next. Then her burns were never mentioned again. A point of realism, too...when someone needs a caregiver because their hands/arms are incapacitated, believe me, there are certain daily bodily functions that are not romantic to deal with, but this was avoided in the story#just saying***

I'm loving the baby saga books. This book was not like I thought it would be it has you wondering what had Beth leaving so many years ago but a mix up in emergency contact details has cole rushing to her bedside still fighting feelings 4 years on. Beth doesn't make things easy on him and he has to work for her trust but in the end they can no longer deny it and along the way they meet an incredible young boy who breaks you your heart Damon just makes this story.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite of the series so far. 4 February 2015

Well, it's no surprise I'm one of Morgana's biggest fans. There isn't a book of hers I don't love. This second book of the baby series was just as great as the first. There is never enough time in the day to read when it comes to her books.

This book through me for a loop. Here I thought it was just going to be a love story about Cole and Beth and the hard times they went through causing their 4 year separation. No, there was this adorable little boy that was thrown in the mix. The things that this poor little 6 year old went threw tore open my heart but to read about all the firsts that Beth and Cole gave him warmed me to my toes. I about believed in Santa again when he got to spend his first Christmas ever with presents.

Cole and Beth were awesome as adults. I loved them in the first book but to read more about them as adults answered a lot of questions. I love them together and though they have issues, mainly Beth's, they do it in a way I could totally see a normal couple with their issues do.

Yes, Sloan and Lily are back with their daughters Calla and Willa. I liked how their blended family was so close. The issue with whom Callas parents are came up and it was dealt with perfectly. Not all families are exactly alike and this family is so strong it makes me feel envious of it.

This book was so sweet and loving i wanted to cry. Of course there were the hard parts where the book went into detail about how they found Damon. I swear I wanted to jump in and run his father over with my car just like Lily did.
I love these characters. They are just all so likable and relatable it makes the whole story fall into place and easy to read you don't want it to ever end.

I'm curious to know who the third book is about so hopefully it will come out soon.
Grab this book, sit down, read it. You will love it just like me.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved Forever His Baby 1 February 2015

I loved Forever His Baby. I mean, love love loved it. I honestly thought that Sloan was the new, absolutely amazing book man in my life. Morgana was just tricking me...getting me hooked on the McClain boys....

Then, she re-introduced me to the wonderfully, beautifully, broken, sexy-as-all-hell, Cole McClain. In Forever His Baby, even though Cole played a huge role in the plot of the story, he wasn't "there" much. In my opinion, a whole lot less in comparison in every way to his brother Sloan. In a word, immature.

Fast forward - several years later - and OMG...we have COLE! Broken as Beth left him, trying to just make it through the day. Leave it to Morgana to painfully throw two souls, destined to be together (maybe), back in to full swing with each other. No choice but to 'man-up' and face the music. Beth and Cole have to figure it out - make it work - see if they can fix and put the past 4 years behind them.

As much as this story was about Cole and Beth and their fate together, the much bigger message concerns a little boy that's accidentally thrust into their lives. The pain and hardship that the McClain clan goes through for Damon Comb...seriously, people, get out your tissues!!

I can't even elaborate a little as I feel it might give way too much away. This was another "I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN" awesomesauce piece of amazingness from Phoenix...

Oh - and by the way - she still writes the steam like no one I've ever read....

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!! 2 February 2015

OMG!! What an emotional ride this one was. WOW!!! Cole and Beth after a few years of being apart Cole and Beth reunite. Both of them have a heart of gold. Morgana did a wonderful job with this story. Between all the characters and how you can feel any love, hurt or anger the characters are going through. I did cry through some of the book due to some content in it. I love how Morgana pointed out in the book that family isn't just blood. Fantastic story!! Highly recommended!! Page Turner!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love always finds a way 2 February 2015

I absolutely loved this story. There were times when I cried, then laughed. It shows that true love never fades only is meant to be. Tragedy often times helps aid in bringing two people together. I really hope for more in the series. I feel that this series is the best ones that MORGANA PHOENIX has ever written. The characters have a strong basis. I highly recommend it if you are a sucker for love. I received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply and incrediby MORE 2 February 2015

Beautiful and heartbreakingly written. I was worried when I started reading this book that I would have trouble getting lost in Beth and Cole's story, distracted by Lily and Sloan as simply being "extras" in the narrative. Not so! If anything Beth and Cole's story is MORE than Sloan and Lily's. These two charachters have more angst, more history and more undeniable attraction than any two charachters I have read. Love, Love, Love it!
