I usually like her books, but this one was too obvious and over-explained. The plot was farfetched and it seemed like YA.

Another Win for Jennifer McMahon

I adore this author and this is the 4th or 5th novel of hers that I've purchased. This story is written very well and it balances reality, the imaginary, and the supernatural. It keeps you on your toes the entire time and right at the moment the ending is revealed, everything falls together perfectly. The characters are relatable and they all have individual struggles that are resolved in a realistic way. The narrative swaps from character to character, and while this is necessary for the plot, if you don't like books that swap narratives, you may not like this one.

Every year I wait for this author to publish a book and she has never disappointed me. I love how she brings magic and mystery with every book she writes. I think she is an amazing writer. This book was awesome, it made you feel like you were invited to believe anything is possible!! I wait for the next adventure, hopefully it won't be a long wait!
