Love this book. It was so practical and comes from a former teacher who seems to have seen it all over her 30 years in education. So straight away the book got into it and gave me 7 chapters of understanding and practical tools. I loved how at the end of each chapter there is a summary called in a nutshell, which describes what we just learnt. I especially love all the interactive exercises. If your kid is being bullied then this is a must for every parent and should be handed out to every teacher for them to learn how to handle it.

This is a really perceptive outline of 'Bullying' in schools with practical strategies to analyse and counter the problems outlined. These strategies can clearly be used with students and certainly teachers and parents to assess personal value stances and general practices and expectations in dealing with the issue. The author draws on a wide array of relevant and researched source material. This book is recommended as an addition to any teacher's and student counsellor's professional libraries.
