Product Description

Find out why readers have dubbed Jade C. Jamison the "Queen of Rock Romance."

What if you discover the man you want is toxic?

She tasted a little bit of heaven with him, and now they’ve gone through hell and back, but can their relationship take anymore?

Valerie Quinn is a naïve college freshman when she meets on-the-rise rock star Ethan Richards. He’s an idealistic, handsome, reckless young man, but he’s captured her heart. She doesn’t give up on him and eventually his walls crumble down. By the time Valerie has given herself to him completely, she discovers he’s damaged and may be beyond help. Can she save Ethan and their relationship before he implodes, or will he self-destruct and take her with him?

Yes, this is the book you've been hearing all the buzz about!

Here's what readers have been saying about this book:

"Bullet is very raw, gritty and full of turmoil. So much turmoil in fact that my kindle almost found itself into a million pieces; When it comes to writing both slow burn and explicit erotica Mrs Jamison is the master." ~ Neda Amini, The SubClub Books

"I just finished Bullet and it was freaking AMAZING!!!!! I'm just blown away. I honestly couldn't put it down and you wouldn't either." ~ Beggin from Mommys a Book Whore

"Val is surrounded by five gorgeous rock-stars with tattoos and long hair. These guys are her protectors, her tormentors, and a few become her lovers. Several times, I had to stop and take a deep breath before plunging back into this story. The sex will fog up whatever glass you have around you. From the loss of her virginity to the awakening of her inner goddess, Val takes you with her on her coming-of-age journey. This is more than just a story of Val's sexual journey. It is also a peek into the microcosm of this rock band, from the self-sacrifices to the self-promotion needed to realize their dreams. If you don't feel like you have been on tour with the band when you finish this story, you're doing it wrong!" ~ Mary Lou PagePrincess

"Bullet is unlike any book I have read before. Instead of a glimpse into a single relationship or a small timeframe we are exposed to a large span of time where we are able to become immersed in several characters’ lives during which time they grow and change and are molded into the people that they will become. This is real life with real problems, real feelings and real choices. It is fascinating and engrossing." ~ Michelle, Nose Stuck in a Book

"Young...dumb...and in love. BEST EFFIN BOOK EVER!!! Oh man.... talk about a Damn rollercoaster ride! I hated every character at one point... Then LOVED every character.... lol I loved all the angst this book had." ~ R. Perales

"This story surprised me and made me question what I like in a story! Recently two things have been bothering me about books….long books and the overuse of the virgin and the bad boy scenario. Well, this story had both of these things and I still LOVED it!!' ~ Jennifer, Book Bitches Blog

Bullet by Jade C. Jamison
Jade C. Jamison delivers a fantastic read with this book. She made me feel real emotions whilst reading this. Yes at times I wanted to Punch Ethan and Slap Valerie. Brad I wanted to take home and adopt this beautiful boy/man and just cuddle him. Then she introduces Clay/Jet and wow just wow (articulate I know) Clay I wanted to snuggle with and Jet well just let's say my thought were not so pure about Jet (so Looking forward to reading his story). Jades words transported me to another place where I could escape to (while the kids are fighting it's always good to be able to escape). When you read this book you will understand why I wanted to hit the characters as at times they were so frustrating. I think the fact that I got frustrated and angry and reacted to the characters strongly means the Jade has written a fantastic book. Buy the book, enjoy the ride.

2.0 out of 5 stars Female lead drove me nuts. 19 September 2016

Val supposed so in love with Ethan but can just hop from him to different guys so easily. It made me not believe anything about her. Then the sheer amount of his crap she put up with annoyed me. It is probably relatively realistic to being stuck in an abusive relationship but it was the whole book pretty much and her happy part was like a page at the end. I want more of the relationship that matters and some more of the happy parts. Val was not strong, or intelligent or funny or brave. She was weak and stayed with a despicable junky when she had a child. To me she was not a character I root for. I like brad, Zane and clay, that's about it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too long and predictable 17 April 2013
By Sharon Xuereb - Published on Amazon.com

If you like stories about Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll then this one is for you. Fully Automatic is the band's name in this book, Bullet previously, and it's founding members are Ethan, Brad, Nick and Zane.

Unfortunately, this story didn't do it for me. The premise sounded great but once I got into it I found it to be too long and I had trouble staying interested. It was quite predictable at times and the ending was a little rushed for my liking.

However the story is put together well moving back and forth from the past to the present, without it becoming confusing.

The characters were both a mix of loveable to downright frustrating. However all of them were well developed and you were able to get a solid understanding of them. Valerie, the main character and the point of view which the story is told from. She is a likeable 'innocent girl' with a good sense of morals albeit a little naive about life and love. Ethan, Valerie's main love interest is a self-destructive young man who take drugs, drinks and likes women a little too much. He's a character you either like or loathe. Then there is Brad, the band's leader, so to speak, and he's a driven young man who wants the band to succeed and puts a lot of time and effort into doing so. Brad is my favourite character in this book and I would have loved for there to be more of him in it. Especially at the end.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Heavy Metal Band and Their Muse 8 September 2013
By Steph Krayeski - Published on Amazon.com

As a whole, "Bullet" captured my attention from start to finish. I enjoyed getting to know each member in the band, Bullet/Fully Automatic. Ethan, Brad, Zane, and Nick's wild ways seemed authentic. The music and lyrics were an added bonus.

And, I adored Clay/Jet too. He was a sexy Rock god! I would love to read a story about his character in the future.

(SPOILER ALERT)
Sadly, I did have some issues with this heavy metal tale. I was disappointed that Val kept returning to a toxic relationship with Ethan. She's a good girl with good morals yet she puts up with his cheating and drug abuse over and over. I get that she was young and naive, but she should have had her epiphany sooner.

And, why devote almost the entire book to Ethan and Val's relationship if they were not meant to be? I just really loved Brad and rooted for him to win the girl. And, when he finally did, I was depressed because their HEA was too short and rushed. I would have given a much higher rating if Brad and Val's relationship had more development than a chapter or two!

Lastly, I was upset that the band gets signed without Val being the lead singer. It just didn't make any sense. (SPOILER ENDS)

Overall, I felt a bit dissatisfied with this story. However, it did hold my attention, and I really relished parts of this novel.

My rating: 3 Stars

4.0 out of 5 stars What happens when the one you love isn't good enough ? 18 July 2013
By Paula L. Phillips - Published on Amazon.com

Have you ever loved someone so much that even though you had your fair share of guys wanting you , you ignored them in hopes that one day the guy you wanted would discover that you do exist and love him and want to be with you forever ?
Jade's book "Bullet' is told in two tenses we have Past and Present.

Past :
For Valerie Quinn , that guy was Ethan Richards. Ever since she first saw him in her History class at college she was smitten with him and so began their long-lasting friendship which would eventually as time wore on become a relationship. Ethan Richards on the other hand as only really loved one thing and that is his music - girls and drugs are his other vices. When Valerie starts to get to know Ethan, she hopes he realises that she wants him and we then read as she becomes closer to the Ethan's band formerly known as Bullet - now Fully Automatic. In the band you have Nick , Zane - whom Valerie went to the college dance with and Brad - a guy Valerie has a strong connection with and if it wasn't for Ethan this is the guy she would be with or would she as there is someone else on the scene with eyes for Valerie- Clayton Smith from the band Last Five Seconds.
Who will Valerie choose , which guy is the one for her ?

Present:
Valerie has just become pregnant at the start of the book and is excited to finally be a mum but she is worried how her partner is going to react. When it looks like he is finally ready to give up the party scene and become a "real dad" she is ecstatic but is this "cleaning up" act short-lived or is he ready to clean up for good ?
One year on, their son Christopher is now a year old and it seems that the act was short-lived and Christopher's dad and Valerie's husband has gone back to his old ways of partying it up the drugged up Rockstar way.
Is it finally time for Valerie to move on in order to provide her son with the best life he can recieve ? Will her Prince Charming still be waiting on the sidelines for her even after all these years ?
Find out in Bullet by Jade C. Jamison .

4.0 out of 5 stars So true to life 2 March 2013
By Kindle Customer - Published on Amazon.com

I love stories about rock stars! This one is a little different. Most are about the girl that gets the rock star to change and stay true to her. Not so with Bullet. We start out with Val and Ethan as freshmen in college. They start a friendship and it turns into something more but Ethan will not acknowledge it or move forward with it. Val is in love with him and does not realize how screwed up he is. Ethan is in a band back home and takes Val home with him one weekend. She meets the rest of the guys and is immediately drawn to Brad who is the backbone of the band. The ups and downs continue for Val and Ethan. Eventually Val becomes the lead singer of the band and the whole band moves in together in Dallas. Val and Ethan get together, then break up and get together again. Val has other relationships, Ethan sleeps with anything while being drunk and high. They eventually get married and have a kid. I wont tell you anything else to spoil the story....since the first epilogue is Val being pregnant I did not give anything away.

Yes this book is not for the people who want all hearts and roses in their stories. This is more like real life. How many of us stay in relationships we know are doomed. We just can't give-up and feel like a failure. If you want to read a story that is more than just the normal girl gets hot rock star and lives happily ever after than this book is for you. I know I will be reading more stories by this author.
