Nysa is a water nymph who can heal people of their grief and misery. She gifted Oreius' brother with her waters to heal him, but Oreius dishonors her gift and pours the water out. In doing so, he releases her from her well that she has been trapped in.
This was a sweet story of healing, forgiveness, and love. The characters are wonderfully emotional and captivating. The story itself is compelling and there are so many surprises that you are engaged every minute. The passion between Nysa and Oreius is searing. This is part of a larger series but can be read as a standalone. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys paranormal, romance, Centaurs, nymphs, or simply a well written story.

Love! Slate has done it again! This novella is NOT to be missed. I adore Orieus and Nysa's romance. They're perfect for one another.
This was a quick read, with love, adventure and quite a few hot scenes that make you want to take a dip in Nysa's well!

Nysa had never had this happen – no one had ever refused her gift. Her waters healed many ailments of the soul and she allowed Oreius’ brother as they were pure of heart in their intent to help his brother. But Oreius, the brute, had scorned her gift. She would not survive long without the source of her waters.
So begins a tantalizing tale!! Nymphs by nature can never refuse a male, and Oreius has not been with a woman in the 10 years since his wife died. Both have issues in their past – will they succumb to their attraction, and will Nysa be able to survive away from her well or be imprisoned in it again?

Brutish lord of thessaly-
I really enjoyed this book. It was very focused on the heart healing and opening up for new love. I like how it was kind of gradual but at the same time it snuck up on Oreius but his sons were ok with it. I like how Nysa tried to be strong and resist Deimos and his attempts to trap her even though it goes against her nature. I can't wait to read he next book and see where he story goes!!
