Book one resolved their relationship, but ended on a cliffhanger, when one of their MC brothers was shot.
This book is a lot darker than book one.
Someone has it in for the Kings and the body count is rising. I started to wonder what the author was thinking, killing off so many characters.
This is a very suspenseful story with the race to find out who the killer is before any other beloved friends are killed.
Cade is panicking about Indy's safety and he even tries a real dick move to send her away!
There is a resolution in this book, but it feels a little empty.

Wow, what a read! Really enjoyed this. Romance, suspense, drama everything. And the author- ruthless! Unafraid to sacrifice characters. Readers looking for a new MC series One click this and consume it. This book is the second in the series, following on directly from where the first finishes, with the club in turmoil reeling from an unexpected tragic loss, so perhaps to gain the full experience the first book should be read for background context and pure enjoyment. Looking forward to the next in the series

Couldn't put it down flowed really well from the first book can't wait to read the next one love the story

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series and have been eagerly waiting for this second book. I can honestly tell you the short wait was worth it, I loved every heart wrenching, suspense filled second- front the first page to the last.
The start takes readers right back to where it ended in Kings Of Mayhem and your heart breaks for Cade all over again. But it’s nothing compared to the absolutely heart shattering scene when little Braxton finds out his father is dead, oh my the emotions flow along with the tears. (This is not giving anything away as it happened in book 1) and then when Abby says goodbye to her twin brother. This author really knows how to describe a scene so vividly, you feel like you are actually there as well.
The mystery and suspense throughout the story is extremely intriguing and puzzling, making you really think about the possibilities, I love it when it’s not a predictable storyline. This author is not afraid to sacrifice characters to create such an incredible story either, very bold.
Once again the sexual chemistry between the lead characters is off the charts. Their depth of feelings so deep and intense. Both Cade and Indy are everyday, normal people you can’t help but like and enjoy.
Underlying issues like handling grief, pain and anger are dealt with in very realistic ways, showing the characters to be life like and easy to relate to in all areas. The empathy you feel for them is real too because of the way it is written.
All I can say is bring on book 3!

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review!
This one follows on right where the previous book, Kings of Mayhem finished, and continues Cade and Indy's story. This one felt a little shorter then the other one and so for me the ending felt a little rushed/abrupt.
I liked Indy a lot more in this one, she seemed to take a stance and made herself be heard while so much grief was going on. I liked she stood up to her man and fought to keep them together this time around.
I cringed when Cade chose to do some of the things he did, even though it was understandable to a point and he wanted to protect the ones he loves, he tried to handle his grief alone which certainly didn't work out that well, I'm glad Indy saw what was happening and was able to get through to him..
This one is action packed and we find out who has been causing all the trouble for the MC and who has been murdering everyone and why! I must admit this author is not afraid to kill off her characters with quite a few of them failing victim.
With all this going on I feel like Cade and Indy's relationship has taken a back seat in the story to all the murders and funerals. I did like how they sorted things out in the end.
I really do recommend you read the first book in the series before this one to get the whole picture. This one also included the first chapter of the next book in the series and I'm happy to see its about a different couple, which I'm really looking forward to.
Overall a good conclusion to the first book.

You’ve got to Love Indy & Cade
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 August 2019Verified Purchase
Brothers in Arms takes off exactly where book one Kings of Mayhem ends. The story is still based around Indy (Indigo Blue Parish) and Cade Calley. This book is also shorter by 100 pages but it doesn’t impact on the story or the pace of the book.
Book one ends with the murder of one of the Kings. As Indy goes in to her Emergency Doctor mode trying to save the fellow Kings life, the shooter strikes again by shooting him in the head killing him instantly.
Indy goes in to shock and Cade can’t think about anything else other than revenge. This death is the first but it most certainly wont be the last. This first death changes Cade. He becomes more and more distant with his grief, and with each subsequent death he becomes more and more consumed with revenge. Which is putting a bigger and bigger distance between him and Indy, as he wont let he in.
Who is trying to hurt the Kings of Mayhem M.C. Is it one of the rival M.C.’s as they have a few or is it, someone much closer to the home of the M.C. Whoever it is they are trying to destroy and bring down the Kings. How may people will die before they find out who is behind it all. Will this be the end of the King? Will Cade and Indy’s love for each other survive?
I really enjoyed this book and yet again I have gone straight to book three in the series. Which I received via NetGalley as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) and will be available to all in a few days. Like I said with book one this book is also like SOA.
Even though there are murders and a woman is attacked it has all been tastefully and well written. If you also enjoyed book one then this is a must read. I’m really enjoying this series so far and I can’t wait till there are more books as I have fallen in love with The Kings Of Mayhem M.C.

Loved Cade and Indy

Well I wanted the darker more grittier side of MC life in this book and I certainly got it.
This book follows on with Cade and Indy and I have to say I just love these two togther even more now.
They don't have it easy because someone if taking out members of The Kings and Cade wants to keep Indy safe, however she won't be hidden away like a prized possession and wants to stand by her man to face the enemy. I bloody love this chkck.
I was on the edge of my seat with this story I didn't know who was next it was exhilarating.
My heart broke at times it was so unfair and I never guessed who the killer was I never saw that coming. I
I'm excited to read the next book and I'm pleased we're getting someone new.

What a second book

Some second books loose steam but this didnt. The pent up suspense is at an all time high. There is loss and tears but there is also an out pouring of love and strength. A great second book that had me clicking on book three.

Brilliant read. Amazing plot with some shocks. This book is excellently written. If you enjoy MC novels I highly recommend this author. Read book 1 first though.
