I intended to use this shoe for runs over 10 km and slower recovery runs. I have a neutral gait and am a mid-foot striker. My doctor recommended some stability shoes to help treat achilles tendonitis in my left foot so I thought I'd give these a try based on all the positive reviews. First things first, these shoes are stiff. And heavy. I've run 50 km in them so far and it's like wearing hiking boots. They take all the joy out of running. They're not very cushioned and they're taking ages to break in. The 12 mm drop is too high for me and causes me to heel strike. When I do happen to land mid-foot the shoes are too stiff to transition to the forefoot for lift-off. Ironically, my achilles tendonitis has improved greatly because I haven't wanted to run at all since buying these shoes!

This is my current favourite stability shoe. I have wide-ish feet and my right foot pronates moderately.
They are comfortable, but hard wearing. I run 12-20 km runs, four times a week.
They fit true to size.
Have already checked out the Adrenaline 20, which have the same cushioning, just re-designed uppers.
Also less foam around the heel cup and ankle. Bought another pair of these instead! Recommended.

Had for three weeks and already wearing out the beads around ankles. Really poorly made. This is probably my eighth pair of Adrenaline GTS (from way back single digits). I am not sure if there is a change in materials but it feels like a step down. Still as comfortable as ever and can put them on and start training immediately without any break-in period, just falling apart right out of the gate!

A good shoe but forefoot cushioning is much softer than I'm used to and does not give any rebound. It feels like I'm running on soft grass and was quite fatiguing at first, but I'm getting used to it.

Comfortable and supportive

I've been using Brooks Ravenna for several years now, and I find them a great shoe, light, springy and feel fast. But recently after suffering from several small injuries I found my toes (mainly 2nd) take a hammering during longer runs to the point where they are swollen and bruised. I think this is a result of over pronation. I can't even remember when I last had normal toe nails on these toes.
Anyway I thought I'd try the new GTS 19, which has slightly more support and what a difference.. I've done 2 runs now, one short (7k) and one longer (15k) and I've certainly felt a difference. Firstly this shoe is so comfortable, there is a lot of protection from the hard surface (something I like).
Secondly it feels like there is less pressure on my toes during and after running. The shoe feels fast, or fast enough for me. So far so good. I've tried the GTS before (15 I think) and didn't get on with it, but this is a massive improvement. I went 1/2 a size up on my normal shoe size and the fit is perfect. So, if you are looking for a comfortable supportive shoe give this a go.

Good for doing the miles

I usually buy Brooks Beasts but have found the last few pairs too heavy and not great quality.
I have also purchased Brooks GTS previously and found them to be light weight but became worn down quite quickly (I run half marathons regularly and clocked up 1200 miles last year).
These ones do not feel as light weight, more stable and better around the toes.
So far I have enjoyed training in them.

Not as solid as expected but still good

Firstly, size-wise I am a shoe size UK 10/44 EUR, and for these I went for a 44.5 due to the varying feedback. Turns out I was spot on lengthwise for me. However I do find the shoes a little wider than preferred (I have moderately narrow feet) and thus these don't quite feel as solid and supportive as I was looking for. That said they were comfortable enough on first outing (slow 5 miles) with no adverse effects. Generally I can't help but feel that all running shoes regardless of maker seem less robust and long-lasting than they used to be, as the 'minimalist' fashion has taken over - or is that just a sign of me getting old?

Probably my 12'th pair of these shoes

If anybody wants to open a museum around the progression of the Brooks Adrenaline Running shoe from version 6 to present date, please let me know as I probably still have used versions of every shoe.
This has been my 'go to' running shoe for over 10 years. I've been unfaithful a couple of times, but always gone back to them and have ran everything up to Marathons in them.

They even come laced and ready to wear out of the box.

Great support around the ankle and really soft underfoot. Read some reviews saying to go a size up from usual shoe size but i ignored this and bought my normal shoe size which is an 8. Usually EU size for an 8 is 42 but these were 42.5. So I suppose I’ve gone up half a size really. Anyway they are a great fit with room for foot expansion.
