5Impressive Jenny's insight into the way life would be like to be forced into a life where you are not allowed to be in control of your own fate is utterly realistic and I was in a trance as I read this book. Throughout I was not able to put the book down. Well done. By Jerry Statomon, Amazon review. 5Oath Tastic Great new book to read once I started reading I finished it in a day. Couldn't stop reading it at all. The main character is an interesting man. A prince betrayed by his family and friends, he struggles to trust again, not surprisingly, forcefully bound to a race of people who hate him and fear him and his magic. It's very enjoyable exploring his magic. I look forward to the next book. By Sam Highetton Amazon review This book was a promising start to a new series. The story and characters are interesting and unique. Looking forward to the next instalment. Out of the pot and into the fire, Tarkyn goes from exalted youngest prince to wanted criminal overnight, only to find himself trapped and tied to a forest full of hostile natives. I have enjoyed this book more the second and third times around--characters are well-rounded. Tarkyn has really grown on me--he's not your typical perfect prince, which I like. He can be spoiled, arrogant, honest, modest, shy, taciturn, remorseful, uncertain, caring, sensitive, mischievous...etc. The connection that grows between he and Waterstone is really touching. Tarkyn really starts to grows and evolve as a person throughout the book. In conclusion- Every prince should be confined in the middle of the woods, forced to live and work with a bunch of hostile natives in order to survive. The second instalment was supposed to be released in mid October 2014, I was starting to worry when months later still no book, thankfully however the author has announced "Wizards Curse" will be released by the end of January 2015. -Amanda K.
