A rewarding read with lots of drama and angst! by sewsummore
This was a long and intensely emotion read. Chase grew up as the adopted son of a very wealthy family. His new mother and brother were all any boy could wish for but his adopted father he was an unwanted extra his wife wanted but he did not. It was not surprising that he grew to manhood with an intense hatred for the man he was forced to call father. Chase's story was one of ambition and revenge, it blinded him to the needs of other and almost cost him the woman he loved. He was at times selfish and cruel but his love for his adopted brother and and mother were his redeeming qualities. I have no hesitation in recommending this book for readers who wish for a longer and more fulfilling read with lots of drama and angst. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book..
