4.0 out of 5 starsIf you don't have Britbox on Prime you can still watch it using the Firestick

Due to conflicting information when I signed up for Amazon Prime I didn't know I could get Britbox through them. I signed up directly with BritBox and then could only use it on my computer. So I was pretty excited to find out I could now access it through my Firestick. What I like is that buying it directly I can pay for it by the year instead of monthly. What I don't like, although it is manageable, is that every time I want to log into BritBox on my TV I have to log in with my computer first and then can use it on my TV. BritBox has a lot of shows that we like.
3.0 out of 5 starsMostly 1970 through 1990's shows

A bit of a disappointment. The content in Canada is mostly from the 1970 through 1990's period with little of the newer shows. I get more series of modern British detective programming on other streaming channels. Good for the British TV nostalgia buff.
I can’t get it to work .Initially it worked for a day then stopped working ,it just spins all the time . I deleted and reinstalled and it worked for a little while ,then started spinning again . I’m not deleting and reinstalling every couple of hours . Don’t know where to go from here ? I’m trying to use it on an Amazon Firesticks 4K .
I'm really enjoying it but I bought a gift subscription for my brother not realizing he had a Sony and it's not compatible so now I'll have to talk to Britbox. Edit: I spoke to Britbox. They said I could I could use the gift against my own account but my brother had already activated it, so they are issuing a full refund because nobody can use it now. They're awesome.
Disappointed, I pay for Britbox thinking I'll get to watch all the shows in the lineup of pictures, only to find out to watch them, or more than one episode or season, you have to purchase Acorn too. Not happy. I love British television, but didn't think you'd have to pay for 2 apps...or will they divide again???
