I have loved the storyline is this whole series, the action, the suspense and the amazing family dynamics. But I have to say this book I read through bleary tear filled eyes, what a story. Well done!!! Please fix it in the next novel.

Joe & Zoe's story was captivating. Seriously kept me on the edge of my seat. Of course it ended way too soon. KGI is a superb series. Bring on Rusty & Sean πŸ’œ

So disappointed with how badly written this series has become. Swanny, Hancock and the stupid females in the last two books were so unlikeable ,I had high hopes for this book returning to the heart of the series- the Kelly family. Although there are some glimpses of the humour and emotion with which the first few books were delivered, the passion and flow of the story is completely lost amongst pointless banter between poorly developed secondary characters and unneccessarily wordy and overwritten prose. I truly wished to see this series until the end as the stories of Joe and Rusty held such promise- I don't think I will bother.

3.0 out of 5 stars A bit disappointed 8 March 2017

I am a big fan of the kgi series, i own every book ebook and paperback. That being said i was a bit disappointed with this one. She made the heroin a very week girl. Many scene were very repetitive and at some points she would use words describing the same thing in different ways. I stopped many times reading because i was getting frustrated with it. I finished out of principle and price! I wanted Joe to have a better story. I hope Rustys doesn't disappoints when it comes out.

4.0 out of 5 stars Had No Action!! 16 March 2017
By Lori McCarthy - Published on Amazon.com

First off I need to say that I feel one of the reasons Ms. Banks writing in this series has changed so much is the constantly conflicting reviews. The last several books were given poor reviews mainly due to the violence done to the heroine. In this book there was no depth to the heroine, she just kept repeating her self loathing and we never really learned her back story. Who was this Sebastian and how did he find her, what happened after the small bit of action? Allie was shot, apparently had surgery, but we never heard anymore about her character. Joe made no sense as he went from never wanting to settle down to being madly in love in 3 days. There has been tension between Rusty and Sean forever but we are really never given much real background in it. The intimate scenes in this book were mechanical and PG at best, I blame this on the fact that Ms Banks has had so many bad reviews because anyone who has ever read any of her other novels knows she can write great sex. I've read all the other books in this series except the last one, I didn't buy it because of some of the early reviews and the price. I'm going to go back and buy it, because I've read all the other books in this series but that one. Up until this book I've enjoyed the series, some more than others, but I have a feeling that this glossed over PG version is in some ways the author trying to appease the negative reviews of the last book. I hope this episode is a one off, as I plan to continue buying this series. Ms Banks please go back to the way you wrote the series in the beginning, with great sex and lots of action!

2.0 out of 5 stars KGI Series Book 11 is a rollercoaster ride in emotions 25 March 2017

This the love story about Joe Kelly and Stella Huntington (aka Zoe Kildare). Joe works in his family's business KGI Kelly Group International, a special ops/security business based in Kentu
Zoe is is daughter of a career criminal named Garth Huntington who raised her in a loveless home. She escaped to her friend Rusty Kelly to save her life from the criminal element all around her.
When she met Joe Rusty' s brother it was love at first for both of them.
I enjoyed the read , but there was too much recycled thoughts, words and information previously read.

2.0 out of 5 stars Skip this one 17 March 2017

Waited a long time for this book. I've read the entire series at least twice. Can't believe Maya Banks actually wrote this. Read the first two chapters, then skip to the last 3 or 4 and you've finished the book. There are so many things that don't make sense; Rusty makes up a new identity for Zoe. Even Donovan can't penetrate it, but the villain finds her, and we never find out how. Joe goes from never wanting a serious relationship to wanting to marry in 3 days!! Ms. Banks needs a new editor.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED Joe and Zoe's story! 22 March 2017
By Mary A. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I have been waiting for Joe's story and was not disappointed in the least. Maya took a different spin with his, spending more time on the love of a lifetime, along with developing Rusty and her place in the Kelly family more.

Some have posted missing all the action, I thought there was plenty of it, just in a different way. The Team has changed and those changes needed to be shown. Back in book one we had Ethan married and now the last of the family has fallen under cupid's spell. New people added to the team and Rusty is no longer a runaway young girl, but a woman in her own right.

I loved Zoe and Joe's story. Maya hit an out of the park homerun with this one. It left me waiting for the next one so I can see what happens next. I Just hate the thought of the end of K.G.I. I am hoping that she has another one already in the works!
