Love the idea for this volume and the series in general. I purchased this so I could review it and see if it would be an appropriate read for my 8th grade students. I think, for my classes, this would be just slightly too advanced, although an exceptionally skilled teacher could pull it off. The plays are abridged - Much Ado About Nothing begins with a brief prologue written in prose before jumping into the action right as the party arrives in Messina - using the original language with images to assist comprehension.
My big issue with this product was that it fell apart the first time I opened it. I had it shipped to my house, and I picked it up a little over a week later when I returned to the US for vacation. I packed it carefully into my suitcase and drove 9 hours from Texas to Mississippi, and when I opened up to Much Ado to start reading, the cover fell off completely - the glue on the binding must have been weak because there was no ripping or any part left on the spine. Later, individual pages began to fall out.
I would still love to use this for my classes one day in the future - several students have told me they really like the idea of this work. There needs to be a better production quality, at least from what I have seen.
