Lisa's books just keep getting better. I love the new inventive ways she comes up with to centre the story around, this one being a new drug. Keep them coming as I will keep on buying them, thank you

Josie Quinn's character seems to get more depth with each book. I got to the end of this one and can hardly wait until the next book. Josie has guts, determination and people around her that totally support her. Good read.

Brilliant Read

A champion swimmer isn't supposed to drown, especially not in the practice pool she uses daily. Detective Josie Quinn was only taking her brother's laundry back to him she didn't expect to be trying to save a life at the same time. By the end of the following day she has two equally confusing cases to deal with but there seems no answers to be had.
Needing the reassurances of her team around her she is concerned when boyfriend and partner Noah keeps disappearing and missing her text messages. Josie knows their perp is both dangerous and cunning which means they will have to look at things from a different angle if she is to solve this before there are more fatalities with or without Noah at her side.
This is the tenth book in this series and the standard is as high as ever. There is a tension which rises chaper after chapter until reading through your fingers is probably recommended! This instalment surprised me throughout, the crimes themselves led to the science which led to the vital clues which led to a denouement which left me astounded.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers but the opinions expressed are my own. Whether you started at the beginning or with book ten this is an excellent read.

Wow! Another brilliant story.

The scene unfolds with Josie finding a dead girl in a swimming pool. The girl had been a champion swimmer so how and why had the young college girl managed to drown? Josie Quinn sensed something wasn't above board. Someone had murdered this young girl and Josie was determined to find out who? The post mortem showed no signs of murder. The tox screens showed no results that drugs were in her body. Could it be possible that this young girl had committed suicide? Josie didn't accept that and her and her team, pulling out all the stops, set out on long twisted journey to find out exactly what had happened.
Now the suspense begins as more people die without known cause.
Sitting on the edge of my seat, I didn't want to put this book down until I'd read the last page.
Brilliant read and worth more than 5 stars. Sad that I have to wait for the next Book in this series to be published.

Another cracker from Lisa Regan

Josie calls to meet her brother on campus and in doing so comes across the body of a young girl floating in the swimming pool. How can a prize winning swimmer die by drowning? A few days later a fire engulfs a house and Josie rescues a grandfather and two young girls. How can a respected firefighter be suspected of setting fire to his own house? What is the connection between these cases?
Lisa Regan gives us another tension filled book. Josie and all the gang are back and working hard to catch a strange killer. But is there a killer? How are they killing these people?
I look forward to every new book from Lisa Regan and this one is no exception. The downside is I have to wait a long time for the next one!

Whole series brilliant. Cant wait for next book. Really hope there is one. Cant put them down everything stops for them. Absolute rollercoaster of a read in each book in the series. Read them in one day, always have to keep going to see what happens next. Think all the characters are great, theres humour as well as drama.

Impossible to read this book slowly!

I'm breathless. I started this book this morning and I could barely put it down. Actually it's yesterday morning now because I could not go to sleep until I got to the end.
A thrilling read yet again from Lisa Regan, fast paced and exciting. I know these characters so well they could be members of my own family.
I'm not going into the story in case i inadvertently reveal a moment that is best come across as you turn a page.
Suffice to say I am sad I have finished but I couldn't have read it any slower I was far too engrossed!
I am just waiting impatiently for this author's next book because I have enjoyed every single one.
