About the Author

Joe Dispenza, D.C., the author of Evolve Your Brain, studied biochemistry at Rutgers University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in neuroscience, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has received postgraduate training and continuing education in neurology, neuroscience, brain function and chemistry, cellular biology, memory formation, and aging and longevity.One of the scientists, researchers, and teachers featured in the award-winning film What the BLEEP Do We Know!?, Dr. Joe has lectured on six continents, educating people about the functions of the human brain. I have always struggled with meditation and my friend suggested this book and introduced me to Dr Joe Dispenza. A week or so before I got the book which was delivered the next day when I did order it, I listened to a few YouTube videos and tried a some meditations. I got the concept but was a bit confused in some of the phrases Dr Joe Dispenza was using so I finally decided to order the book as I was intrigued. I am so glad I did!! The book goes into the science behind the meditation and explains how the brain works and why the meditation is set out the way it is. Thanks to the book my meditation is very powerful and I get it! The book is written in easy to read text and is very interesting as it explains how we work as human beings. He explains in a very easy to digest way and he repeats the concept in different ways so that you will understand it fully. I can’t recommend it enough for people who are struggling with meditation and is a person that the mind runs away with you while doing it, this book will really help. Happy reading!
