This book was the best experience and my new favourite of the series.
.
Not gonna lie, I think Big Man will always be my favourite but Royce he’s a definite close second by half a point. This book definitely hit different than the others in the series and I loved the emotional ride along with all the angst and drama. Royce and Brielle are completely relatable their approach and reactions differ but there is a real mess there and they both strike you in the heart the same way. I loved the humour, and let’s face it, we knew that’s what we would get from Royce but for it to come from Brielle and at times the others was gold.
.
Unbelievable characters. I love Brielles somewhat quirky personality and her insight. She’s such a mature and strong character but in completely different ways that what you would expect. There’s a quiet strength to how she takes on situations and it’s both disarming and such a breath of fresh air. Royce, is a man after my own heart. I could relate to him on an emotional and mental level. He’s definitely the definition of “still waters run deep”. There was so much more to him that what we had originally pegged in the first books and I loved the depth we got to see. It was heartwarming to see a man of power crave the one thing he thought he would never get, and the one thing most don’t strive for and still get it. Both so similar yet completely different and they matched each other so well.
.
Brielle was no doubt the missing link. Going into this I thought she would be a less intense version of Victoria and Raven but she was the complete opposite and it works. She definitely rounds out not just Royce but the Brayshaw Clan as a whole. I enjoyed having the drama come full circle in this book tying in ends from the first books. I’d love to see a spin off of Bass and his story however. There’s still so much to explore with this series I never want it to end. And still so much questions I have and hope to get resolved in any or if there will be future books.
.
It was such a beautifully written masterpiece and one I will no doubt read over and over. Meagan, this was an amazing book!

Royce is like a hyperactive child. He needs to be kept busy, but with his brothers and their girls settling into their new lives he’s feeling a bit aimless. In his mind, Royce feels betrayed by Bass even though deep down he understands that he always had Raven’s, and therefore Brayshaw’s, best interests at heart. It’s almost like he needs some purpose in his life and he’s decided that getting back at Bass is it. Royce wants to mess with Bass’s little sister, a sister that he hid away.
Brielle is adorable. She’s the opposite of Raven and I don’t mean that in a bad way. She’s soft in the way that Rae is hard but it’s not a weakness. Brielle is looking for purpose in her life as well. She wants to be useful and have a family. Royce is a man child, he needs a level of affection that Brielle is capable of giving him. Brielle and Royce are the perfect couple right down to the hot chocolate and sprinkle donuts. She’s the perfect addition to the family. But it’s never that easy in Brayshaw.
The story mostly focuses on Royce and Brielle’s relationship. However, when an old enemy resurfaces who wants revenge on the Brayshaws as well as Bass, Brielle is caught in the line of fire.
There were more than a few tears shed throughout this book, both happy and sad. Especially with the arrival of a long awaited member of the family. There is lots of interaction with the rest of the Brayshaws in this story which means more adorable Zoey moments. Of course we couldn’t have a story about Brielle Bishop without her brother showing up could we???
Break Me can be read as a stand alone. It recaps the characters, relationships and events of the previous books without too much repetition for those who have read the series from the start. However, I would definitely read the other Brayshaw books because it’s a phenomenal series. Royce’s book is the final book in the series but hopefully it’s not the last time we see these characters.

Brielle and Royce
This is the most anticipated last Brayshaw book.
Royce "Ponyboy" comes across as the fun, party-goer, player. But he has a darker side, a side that he refuses to let people see or get..... his heart. He loves his family fiercely, would do anything for them. He loves that his brothers have their women and have their hea. But he feels left out, unlovable, not wanting to bum out his brothers happiness. He goes about his business.
Until a little ray of light enters his world, she's genuine light, not rough about the edges like everyone else who has had it rought like her. She's a puzzle to him. He's annoyed that she's gotten to him, doesn't like the feeling that come with it.
So he's fights it and does this hot and cold attitude with her.
This has all the feels like the other books have. An emotional rollercoaster ride.
Can this little silver haired pixie break this last standing Brayshaw and catch him when he falls?

I have been waiting for Royce’s story for so long and it does not disappoint. Royce turns out to be everything you needed and more and Brielle is his perfect soulmate. It’s not as emotional as Captain’s story but this still gets you in the feels and has you turning the page eagerly until you’ve devoured the whole book. An amazing end to an incredible series. What will we do without the Brayshaw world!

3.5 stars.
I loved cheeky chappy Royce from the first books hotdog swimming trunks and all but here in his own book he kinda proved what a$$ he is there's broken and then there's just plain being a di** . To me Brielle didn't come across as strong for standing for all his foul mouthed rants she came across as a bit of a push over for taking it and still going to him..Raven would of punched and honestly that's what he needed.
The best part for me was when Bass showed up it was the only part that had passion, between the siblings..The end seemed rushed and not at all how I hoped it would..Yeah I'm a little disappointed as I loved the first 3 books Captain and Royce let the side down for me Sorry.

What a way to end an already incredible series. Royce and Brielle are EVERYTHING.
The minute this book hit my kindle I started reading, and I didn’t stop until I’d read the last page - and by then I was an emotional wreck because of all the drama, but also because that epilogue was freaking perfection!!!!
Royce Brayshaw has always been my number 1 and this story has just solidified that for me. I’m so happy that he finally found what he was looking for, and I couldn’t have picked anyone better than Brielle for our Ponyboy.

The last brayshaw book!! And my guy Royce did not let me down 😉 what a brilliant end to an AMAZING series. I've adored Royce from the beginning of these books and they couldn't have given him a better girl to be his brayshaw. Brielle is such an amazing character, they are the most perfect match together in every way possible 🖤 I was grinning from ear to ear for the first half of the book and couldn't stop laughing - especially with Royce being the joker of the family, the playboy flirt 😉 then the book gets more serious and it's actually heart breaking. The ending had me nearly shouting at my book in tears but ended on a high 🖤 I'll be getting these books all on paperback as I'll be 're reading for sure
