I’m a little confused by this book. I usually love Tijan’s books but this one just wasn’t enough. I need more. I felt like Rayna was confused and left in the dark for most of the book. Everyone was keeping secrets from her that were about her, so it wasn’t like she was keeping herself in the dark either.
As for Brady, he only stepped up to the plate because someone actually challenged him and he didn’t want to lose her, whereas if he’d made the effort to get her to socialise sooner, they probably would’ve been together sooner. So he basically kept her ‘innocent’ in all ways until he pushed further.
