A bit of a disappointment

I’ve read and enjoyed the ‘Killer of Kings’ series & like several other readers I was looking forward to Boss’s story but this was, to me at least, a disappointment. The writing seemed rushed & the plot sketchy at best. Graciella, the heroine is certainly a tough cookie but she showed some vulnerability & I think that if that had been explored she would have seemed more human. There was very little romance and I found the sex rather boring. I’m sorry to be so negative but I’m trying to be honest and constructive.
