The included liquid soap module was really useful to start out with - I just used regular kitten wash & wax in it and it works great for covering the car in soap and also for close-in cleaning.
I then used the included 3-in-1 nozzle to attempt to clean off all the sap - not even the blaster mode worked and i'll now only use this accessory for general cleaning and rinsing off things as it lacks power (worked well for everything else, tree sap is a real worst case scenario). The cleaner comes with a Karcher adapter and I was able to use my old attachments from my long dead cleaner which worked great with the Bosch cleaner - this adapter definitely improves the value of this unit if you have some old Karcher attachments lying around.
I really like how well everything snaps together and how well it stows away when you are finished - it doesn't take up much room at all. Despite everything being made of plastic, everything felt solid and durable - I highly recommend this unit.
I’ve used a bunch of high pressure hoses over the years, some are good and some...not so good. This one defiantly falls into the good category.
It does it’s main thing well, which is to provide high pressure water, without that, you just got a glorified garden hose. This is not a glorified garden hose.
I used it straight away the day I got it and it did an excellent job of cleaning my driveway and the front of my house and I am already planning what I can clean next.
It’s super easy to use and I love the way all the parts pack away and clip onto the outside of the unit for storage so you don’t loose any of them, this is important for me and if you saw my messy garage, you would understand why and having the handle and large wheels is so good to help wheel it around, especially when moving it over grass.
While cleaning, it lets you choose from 3 settings (depending on what you are cleaning) that change how the water comes the wand, this is important as you don’t want to use the wrong setting for what you are cleaning. A quick read of the manual will explain it.
All in all, I’m impressed with it. I’m looking forward to cleaning my back patio next, which will please my wife to no end.
On the whole, I was very impressed with this unit. There were a couple of niggles but they did not impair the effectiveness of the product. Having owned a couple of pressure washers in the past, this certainly reprents good value for money.
What I liked:
As I mentioned, I have owned a couple of pressure washers in the past and found the setup of this unit quite simple, easy and intuitive.
The included detergent sprayer/reservoir held enough to do our large SUV in one fill.
The spray selection and orientation was very easy using the click adjustments on the lance.
Patio cleaning was very effective, and it managed to remove blobs of tile adhesive left behind by a tradesman over 2 years ago.
Unlike my previous units (from other brands), all the couplings were rock solid and leak free.
Water pressure was perfect, not too strong and not too weak.
Water consumption seemed minimal and the unit is super quiet compared to others I've used.
What I didn't like:
Though the instructions were simple and reasonably comprehensive, I found it odd that the main familiarisation diagram was at the very back of the multilingual booklet. In my past experiences, it is generally at the front and I feel that some new users might overlook it altogether.
The folding trolley handle makes for compact storage and whist it locks in the open position, it does not lock in the closed/folded position. Though by no means a deal-breaker, I feel this is an oversight that would have made storage more secure.
The power cable storage is a little awkward to access without tipping the unit forward. In doing so, you risk snapping the hose coupling/water filter.
The housing on my unit had a 30mm defect at the seam where the front and back shells were clearly not aligned properly during manufacture. This could indicate an assembly/quality control issue, though it certainly did not impair the unit's operation.
