5.0 out of 5 stars Great purchase for my little dogs that tire easily on walks
Reviewed in the United States on 19 April 2016
I really hesitated purchasing this stroller due to the cost. Not that it wasn't competitively priced, I just did not want to invest that much money if my dogs would not ride in it. The stroller is really well-made and feels solid. I like the fact the tires are rubber and I think it makes it a more comfortable ride for my dogs. I have two terriers, 12 lbs. and 16 lbs. and both fit in it with plenty of room to lay down and move around. It was easy to assemble but I did have some trouble figuring out how to assemble the hand brake but finally figured it out. I was able to use my bicycle pump to inflate the rear tires, but there was not enough room between the spokes on the front wheel to use the pump. I went to the bike store and purchased a small hand pump and that did the trick and I'm able to use it on all three tires as they pump up quickly.

The stroller is so easy to navigate. The dogs will walk alongside the stroller at the start of our walk and I'm able to steer it with one hand while holding the leashes with the other. I leave the back unzipped so they can jump in when they get tired. I haven't taken it on gravel, but it handles grass and curbs with ease. I live in an apartment and am able to easily navigate it through the front door and onto the elevator. I haven't yet had issues getting it to fit through doorways, despite the fact it is wide. The only storage on this stroller are the side pockets which will hold my keys, phone, doggie bags, and treats. The company sells a organizer accessory that attaches to the handlebars.

I did have to use patience to get one of my dogs used to riding in the stroller. He is very nervous about anything new so it took me a few weeks of bribing him with treats to get him just used to getting in and out of the stroller. I left it in the living room and every night we played "get in the buggy" game where I gave them lots of hotdog treats every time they jumped in the stroller. Then, on my first ride with them, I just kept praising them and feeding them treats through the sunroof. Now, they are both comfortable riding in it. My next step is to attach it to my bike so we can take rides along the lake. Another benefit of the stroller is being able to keep my dogs calm and safe when we are on walks. Both of my dogs are little and one gets very reactive when he sees another dog. If I see dog walkers coming our direction, I pick mine up and toss them in the stroller and zip up the rear opening. It seems to calm my fearful one and he is less reactive when we pass other dogs.

I am really happy that I made this purchase. On so many levels it is a good thing for my dogs and I no longer have to feel guilty about leaving them at home when I go on bike rides. I'll just take the with me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!

I can’t be happier! We live along a river bike pedestrian path. I love running and biking along it! I’ve been wanting to bike to the parks and restaurants along the way with my little dogs(9 and 13 pounds). This has been great so far! We have had some good rides. I love the stroller option for farmers markets. I have also been able to go on longer runs then normal. The dogs can get in and take breaks when they get tired or it gets too hot. The quality seems good. Didn’t have any any issues with assembly. All of the locking mechanisms seemed to work fine and be pretty intuitive. It also fits through doorways with ease. I would recommend this for smaller dogs. The roof isn’t very tall. Having 2 little dogs they have more than plenty of room. I would also recommend adding a little padding if your pooch is spoiled like mine are.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE this trailer! Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about this trailer. I looked at all the reviews on all the different brands and sizes and decided that this was the best for my needs. I found You Tube videos on how to put it together and another on how to attach the hitch to the bike (it was for the Houndabout trailer, but used the same hitch.)

I have a Specialist Bike and it hooks up perfectly and pulls beautifully. I've used it on gravel trails and it seems to be a smooth ride for my dogs. I have two small dogs, 12 pounds each. They both fit in the trailer with room to spare. Based on other reviews of not enough cushioning on the bottom of the trailer, I bought two chair cushions and used the ties to tie them together to make one piece. Cost $10 and works like a charm.

Transporting the trailer is quite simple. It doesn't "fold" but it's very easy to collapse by releasing the top inside bar and popping off the wheels (quick push-button release). Very easy to load into a vehicle this way. I have a Ford Escape (older boxier model) and it even fits into the back with the wheels still attached. Also very easy to re-assemble. I'm a petite woman in my mid-fifties and I had no problem assembling, dis-assembling, and lifting into my SUV. I highly recommend this trailer!
