Holds rods great and looks OEM

As described and delivered on time. I have a 95 Viper by John Storie that I installed this in. Due to the small height of the gunwale I had to install this just in front of the drivers cockpit. Used the provided template and cut the hole in the gunwale and to my surprise the buckle would not fit. Inside the gunwale is an additional embedded plastic tube, for wires I assume. Instead of cutting that tube and possibly cutting wires, I instead removed the back cover from the Rod Buckle and it fit perfectly. Holds rods great and looks OEM. Just make sure you cut your hole as close to the floor as possible with the template, had I went a little lower I would have maybe been ok.

I have a 2012 triton bass boat and one of these came on the boat. I ended up purchasing this one for the other side of my boat, because I liked the original one so much. Just be sure you have a jig saw when installing this. It will save you a lot of time when cutting the whole in your boat to install this.

Amazing investment so easy and secure. Kinda sucks to install cutting a bigger hole in the gunwall but it mounts super neat and clean

I am an avid fisherman. I enjoy all kinds of fishing, and when it comes to my rods being safe on the deck of my boat I depend on these rod holders to keep them safe, and this product does just that. Some years ago while I was tournament bass fishing, I stumbled apun these rod straps, as a matter of fact, that has been over 10 years ago and I have just now replaced the straps that I used then. I must say this product has stood up to many hours of use, and I will always look for this product to keep my rods safe on the deck of my boat.

Pretty good quality. Plastic as expected. Works as expected. Be aware of is you have a bass boat with a short gunnell above the deck you will have to install in the deck rather than the gunnel.
