I did enjoy this story, but there were a number of factors that held it back from a higher score for me. It is a short book, and I would have preferred more depth of character and detail. I felt the plot was too obvious - no spoilers, but it was no problem guessing who the arsonist was. I also felt Will and Damon were too pushy; bullying Phoebe into sex and not allowing her to decide and agree. They were also insufficiently apologetic for how they had let her down before, and Phoebe forgot all about that far too easily - how could she trust them again? Howerer still a good read.

Can you stand the heat??

This book was short but really well written, I read the blurb whilst looking for another book on Amazon and had me hooked, line and sinker!
I read it in one go and did not disappoint.

The characters are well described and the chemistry is off the charts they certainly burnt with passion.
Sometimes less is more and certainly this is the case here. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

"Blowing It Off" Stimulated Book One by Lexxie Couper was my first book by this author. It was a good storyline, a quick, no angst read with a bit of suspense. However it fell just a bit flat for me. I just felt that our heroes could have groveled more for forgiveness of their mistakes. And our heroine forgave and forgot too quickly. But of course that's just my opinion of what I prefer in my favorite novels/novellas. I like to see my heroes work for it!

This is a menage MFM featuring Phoebe, Will and Damon. These three have been friends for a long time however one weekend they take their relationship to an intimate level. Phoebe is thrilled and she admits that she has feelings for them both that are more than friendship. Phoebe wants to see where things go. She is not ashamed of being publicly involved in a polyamorous relationship.

However.....

Will and Damon panic and let Phoebe think their one weekend together was just for fun and it didn't mean anything to them.

Liars! Cowards! She was devastated! :(

Brokenhearted, Phoebe moves away to another town. When her glass blowing shop catches fire and is destroyed, the fire investigators are called in. Did I mention that Will and Damon just so happen to be fire investigators?

Will and Damon know they were the biggest idiots to let Phoebe leave thinking they didn't care for her. But now that they have the opportunity to see her again after so many months, they have to convince her they want more than a relationship with her. They want forever!

Talk about steaming, hot, unadulterated sex! Get yourselves ready, ladies, this series does not disappoint!

What more can a woman want than to have a man (or men) be entirely focused on bringing the utmost pleasure to her body? In these series, author Lexxie Couper creates believable characters whose social and physical interaction is instense from the very beginning. Her characters are strong, heterosexual, and highly comfortable with erotic sexual interaction.

Likes/Dislikes:
I enjoyed reading each book in this series. The characters are strong and independent; each book has a unique storyline; and the descriptions are full of vivid imagery. What I like the most is the focus of the books, as they are written with the woman’s ultimate pleasure in mind.

This is my first time coming across this author and am very pleased that she stayed true to the genre. Her stories are unique and can stand alone, not like the many ’50 Shades of Grey’ wanna-be novels out there that do not vary from the same storyline. Her leading ladies are strong and self-confident. They know what they want and are not ashamed to pursue it. Her leading men are passionate and considerate of the sexual power they possess, and are more than willing to gratify.

The Verdict:
I enjoyed everything about these books: the storyline, the characters, the book length, and the author’s writing efforts. I give this series a ‘five out of five’ stars as they do not disappoint!
