Product Description

The highest levels of the government believe Project Hermes is the best way to control America’s immigration problem. A simple microchip carrying a citizen’s information will allow officials to sort out who belongs—and who doesn’t. Harmless.

Unless the chip carries more than just information.

Agent Miranda Kruz of the Terrorism Task Force has reason to believe something is very wrong with Project Hermes. People are dying and the clues all point to a microchip implant. But Randi’s superiors don’t want anything or anyone interfering with their pet project. They’re threatening her job, her loved ones, and her life to keep her from revealing their secret. With the help of medical examiner, Vic Hammond, and electronics engineer, Jack Davis, Randi has to uncover the truth and make it public before anyone else is targeted for death.

Locating the madmen behind these executions will be hard enough—stopping them might just be impossible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chips for Pets AND their Humans...oh my 21 March 2016

Very real story. It was well written and the three main characters were terrific. It is scary in that this could so easily be happening today. Who knows what crazy things are being done in the name of national security. I am not by nature a conspiracy theorist but I know that if we can chip pets and some people so we can track them for their one protection, we can make such a program plausible. I love this author and have read all of her books. She is versatile in her style. From genies to microchipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fiction could be real... 9 December 2015

I'm becoming a big fan of B.E. Sanderson's books, whether she's writing suspense or urban fantasy. BloodFlow is a taut medical/political thriller that rides the edge of reality in today's tense political climate. There's murder, villainous politicians, and heroic investigators and doctors. I originally "borrowed" this book through Kindle Unlimited. After finishing it, I've added it to my keeper shelf and bought it because it's just that good. The climax had me putting eyedrops in so I could see well enough to finish the book. Yeah, I was up that late reading it! If suspense is your thing, read this book! (It even has a touch of romance for those of us who like our suspense with a side of that.)

This is a very good book! With technology advances I can see this happening someday. Nanotechnology is great, but it can be deadly if misused and controlled by evil. Great book!
