"Adriane Leigh never dissapoints with equal amounts of heat and heart with all the sex, suspense and scandal in Blindsight. Leigh's newest mysterious hero will have you anxiously flipping pages well into the night trying to uncover his secrets." - Jay Crownover, Marked Men

Sometimes a single touch is all it takes to spark a wildfire.
Erin Warner learned that the day she bumped into the dashing, tattooed stranger on a busy Chicago street corner. She's captivated from the moment Hunter Ellis' mystifying green eyes find hers, but there is more to him than meets the eye, including the intricately etched tattoos decorating his body that disguise horrific scars from a past he refuses to revisit.

As she peels away the layers, Erin realizes that what she thought was true, never really was at all, for both of them.  Now she can only hope that blind adoration for the dashing stranger didn't sign her death warrant.

A sexy read full of secrets, mystery and white hot sexual tension. Adriene Leigh delivers a book that will have romance and smut readers glued to their kindles/books to discover who exactly Hunter Ellis is.

Blindsight is book 1 in a new erotic serial by Leigh which introduces readers to Hunter Ellis - an erotic photography and all round man of mystery and intrigue. A chance encounter on the streets thrust Erin Warner on a journey she never imagined, especially with a hot tattooed stranger with an unnatural pull on her. Thus her life is turned upside down by accepting a position to travel the world as his personal assistant. But what she doesn't expect is to be placed square in a situation that she she's not even quite aware of.

Adriane did an awesome job in pulling me into the story. I was blown away by this book. Ok, so I am not sure what I read but let me explain. The whole premise of this first installment was to set us up for a slow burn between this couple as well as give us glimpses that not is all that it seems on the surface. Both characters are shrowed with secrets that while readers get a glimpse, they don't get the full story.

If there is one way to explain the first 50% of this book it would be explosive sexual tension. The actions and reactions of the two main characters is designed to draw you in and feel as frustrated and turned on as them. I was practical gagging for something to happen between these two as the tension filled the atmosphere between them until it was as thick as syrup and I was on the edge for more than simple touches, caresses and teasing.

I was wholly invested to finding out what I knew was there but couldn't quite grab.

I love both Hunter and Erin.

I gotta start by saying this book will leave you with more questions than answers. The prologue totally sucks you in, but being book 1 of a series, I guess you could say it's to suck you in to want to read more so you can find out what happens.

Hunter is an exotic photographer but has many secrets, (secrets we as readers are not yet privy to, which was rather frustrating).

Erin is desperate for a job and runs smack into Hunter, who surprise surprise just happens to have a job available.

This book was fast passed, like literally Erin was in love in only days WTF...
The characters had no emotional connection, with hunter having so many secrets and leaving so many unanswered questions, it felt abit hard to connect with the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing! “You always have a choice…I just like to take it away from you once in a while.” - Hunter 9 December 2015
By Sharon S - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
BLINDSIGHT PART ONE has the oddest start to a book that I have read in a long time. It starts with a prologue, that foreshadows events to come, but that aren’t revealed in the book.

Erin Warner works as a copywriter and editor and crosses paths with the mysterious and hot Hunter Ellis. She mentions that she was supposed to be meeting someone for a job and he says that he is looking for an assistant. He leaves his card and tells her to call. Turns out that Hunter is an amazing photographer and he travels to all kinds of exotic locations for his shoots. He hires her on the spot and days later she is traveling with him to Portugal for the first shoot.

At first Erin is drawn to Hunter, but trying to keep things professional, but with the subject matter he shoots and his dominating ways, she cannot ignore the way her body reacts to him.

“You always have a choice…I just like to take it away from you once in a while.” - Hunter

They move very quickly past a professional relationship and she is blind to the signs that there is more to Hunter than meets the eye until he takes her to meet his step-father. After that meeting she learns that he has been keeping some earth shattering secrets from her including how they didn’t just accidentally cross paths.

There is one doozy of a cliffhanger and there are more secrets to come…I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I am anxiously awaiting book two so I can find out what Erin is hiding and who Hunter really is.

Lastly and most frustratingly, I still can’t get the prologue out of my head. It is almost like seeing the end of the story and then trying to figure out how they got there and how they can change the outcome.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hunter Ellis is so perfectly written with his bad boy persona 29 November 2015

Blindsight grabbed me from the beginning and held my attention to the very end.
Hunter Ellis is so perfectly written with his bad boy persona, I found it very hard not to be intoxicated by him. His job as a erotic photographer seems dark and mystifying but deep down Hunter is keeping something to himself.
Erin Warner is swept away from the first time Hunter bumped into her and offered her a job she could not turn down. Travel the world to exotic locations and assist Hunter Ellis while he is capturing erotic magic behind a camera.
The passion between Hunter and Erin intensifies and Erin can no longer keep it just business between the two.
It isn't hard not to figure out that Erin also holds a secret.
Blindsight is full of suspense, passion and secrets that will keep you on the edge of your seat and I believe the end will leave you with a WTF moment ( Sorry, but those were the first words that came to me) and you will have to patiently wait for book 2.

*Short read and intended for mature audiences*

Spoiler Ahead This was a pretty good book that I wanted more of not really sure more of what though. Erin fines herself drawn to Hunter and although she tries to keep it professional they move quickly she is blind to the fact that he has some deep dark secret's and it was no accident that they met. This was a short read with a cliffhanger. This was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I hope that the next book in this series will be longer and darker.
4.0 out of 5 stars Disheveled Book Blog Review 20 January 2016

Book one in the series threw me. The story was griping, suspenseful, intense, steamy and easy to read. First I’m not a huge fan of serial series, I don’t understand the appeal. But this book is making me think that maybe I’ll actually like books written into a short serial series. Hunter…he’s mysterious, dirty, and rough around the edges. Lets not forget the one thing that makes him so irresistible, he’s a photographer that specializes in erotic art. Erin is so naive, but she was also a bit of a mystery to me too. They’re both holding back secrets from each other but they are revealed in the end but that cliffhanger too. I’m speechless and wondering how fast I can get to book two and figure out all my unanswered question. Also who’s the guy that seems to be watching/stalking Erin?

Adriane is a fabulous story teller and of the books that I have read from her I’ve not been disappointed. This is one of those series that you can enjoy in small dosage but don’t think you want be longing for more when it ends. I needed book two stat and luckily for me it was available. (So lucky for you too…book two is available now!)
3.0 out of 5 stars It wasn't that it was bad, I jest never felt compelled to keep reading ... 30 March 2016

I probably would have given more stars to book 2 than either book 1 or 3. Maybe the whole thing was a 2.5 for me. It wasn't that it was bad, I jest never felt compelled to keep reading (even though I read it all, a little readers OCD). I never felt Erin and Hunter click. Through a lot of book 1 I kept wondering what her story was? She really didn't seem that bright. Bad decision makers can still be funny or smart or interesting. Why was she still married to that guy? Money? I just never found her interesting. It was also a little predictable for me. Hunter was obviously not just a photographer, and who else would have been watching her? Also, I really don't dig cheating, even if the husband was a loser. And honestly, the sex was good, but the dirty talk felt awkward. I mean, just when Erin would have another reason to not trust this guy, he throws out some seriously banal dirty talk and she melts? Again, it just didn't get me worked up at all. It had good reviews, someone liked it a lot, it was worth a shot. No regrets.
