Product Description

A reporter comes across a war brewing in California.

He ends up tangled in a murder mystery of sinister proportions.

This murder mystery is set in a time of evolving conflict and spiritual awakenings. We follow reporter Beau Larson vacationing in the California mountains when he meets an intriguing man on a hike.

Larry is a blind man with visions of an ancient paradise. He lives by himself on the mountain every summer. Larry asks for Beau's help in writing a book about what he sees.

Do Larry’s visions have widespread appeal?

Beau soon discovers a gruesome murder. He investigates the town of Fools Gold to solve the mystery. Can his newfound friend Larry help him come to terms with his itch for justice?

Things are not what they seem in Fools Gold.

The plot thickens as politics blurs reality. Everyone in this isolated town appears to act against their own interests. As a reporter, Beau has a duty to discover what the real truth is in Fools Gold.

Beau risks his life to try and make sense of the murder through the eyes of the blind man. As an objective journalist, he must find answers as lethal tension rise.

Will Beau solve the mystery before the murderer strikes again?
