McCafferty & Quinn take a rare holiday that soon becomes anything but, as they find themselves helping to solve a murder mystery - 3 bodies strung up to look like scarecrows in two locations. Lots of folklore and ghost stories tie in with the murders, but what us the truth. Read it and find out through all the twists and turns.

Title is misleading.Reviewed in Canada on 30 March 2019
I have read Heather Graham's books extensively, but found this one somewhat lacking. There was a mystery involved as with her other Quinn and Caferty books, but it was missing character development. This may have been due to length of the novel - shorter than a full novel. I did not find it up to the same standard as I have become used to from Ms. Graham.

Flimsy plot.Reviewed in Canada on 19 December 2020
I've read a few of this author's books. They are hit or miss. This one is a miss. The story feels rushed, and the plot is flimsy. Do not waste your money. Check out some of this author's earlier work instead.
Mystery/paranormalReviewed in Canada on 27 September 2019
Another enjoyable evening read. this author has a knack for blending the paranormal with a mystery and a twist of romance.

Love any Heather Graham books and this book did not disappoint . It had me guessing right up till the end. A fast read.
