Absolutely love Sean Carrroll and his fascinating podcast, of which his extremely appealing personality is a big part of the appeal. I am up to the financial hilt in existing Patreon subscriptions, so wanted to financially support his writing efforts. Unfortunately, may not have chosen the best one to my tastes, as what I hoped would be popular and entertaining science, seems more semantic-centric and circular, in over-describing different categorisations of macro vs micro systems and their compatibilities. For mine there was not much substance, and too much focus on the architecture of language and labelling, and nit-picking in too precise a manner in how it should be applied. With the same point, repeated, again and again and again .... Nevertheless, look forward to the 'Particle at the End of the Universe', which perhaps may be more what I was after in this instance.
It doesn't always stream easily, but the content is extremely interesting for people who are trying to find answers to deep ontological questions. It is undoubtedly a big picture book - as title makes it very explicit - with lots of triggers for thoughts. Really recommended.
