Fate thrusts them together, once again, when a heist goes wrong at an underground poker game Sheena is dealing. After an out-of-control night, of dodging bullets and eluding the cops, Cobra and Sheena fall into each other’s arms neither caring about the consequences. Great if you believe in storybook endings, not so much if you’re a realist who knows vicious fuckers never give up.
When the mob boss threatens Cobra’s brother, and lures Sheena into his web, Cobra must take a stand. Fight for his club and protect his brother, or save Sheena from the lethal mob boss.

Loved Cobra & Sheena

Cobra was the Prez of the Serpents MC Las Vegas and Sheena was a con artist. They met at their best friend’s wedding and after taking an inebriated Sheena back to his place he struggled within himself if he could actually take what he wanted or not. The bad boy biker in him said yes but it was the noble guy who won out. Sheena and Cobra both held some very deep and dark secrets that would eventually affect both of their lives all the while they were actually finding a place within each other.

This is my first time reading this author and I loved every bit of this book from the heartbreaking untold secrets, to the chemistry of these two and for the rollercoaster ride of emotions.

I'm loving Barbara Nolan's MC fiction. It's suspenseful and sexy with strong, well drawn characters.
In the second book in the Serpents MC Las Vegas series, we meet club President, Cobra for the first time. He is a complicated guy with a painful past and a big secret even his closest club brother doesn't know.
When he meets Sheena in the club's bar, there is immediate attraction. The sexual connections are out of this world.
We met Sheena in book #1. She used to run cons with Daisy. She has also had a traumatic family history that she has not even told Daisy about.
It's hard to trust people with secrets, so these two have a few issues to sort out together. Someone they both have ties to is acting with deadly intent. And when Cobra loses the one person he loves in all the world, Sheena is there for him.

A fabulous story that had me engaged from the first until last page.
Cobra and Sheena are both people who keep parts of themselves hidden, and while their lives are so very different from mine, they are still characters I can relate to when it comes to the need to protect ones heart.
The story is full of twists, turns and surprises; moments of tenderness and passion; and most definitely moments when you're wondering "what are they thinking????", and I loved it!!
Cobra and Sheena's story is wonderful for when the reader needs to escape the reality we live in and get lost in another.
While I definitely believe Beyond Remorse can be read as a stand alone, I recommend reading the first novel from the series.

Sheena and Cobra both have secrets that no one knows. Sheena her past needs to remain a secret as her life was something like this Sapranos. Cobra's secret is his brother, he needs to keep the MC world away from Danny. Tangled web of lies and deceit, lots of action, suspense, laughter, tears and sizzling heat in the page-turning read will have you wanting more. I can't wait to read Python's story.
