About the Author
Tina Michele is a Florida girl living on the banks of the Indian River Lagoon in the biggest small town on the Space Coast. She enjoys all the benefits of living in the Sunshine State. During the day, she pretends to do what they pay her for but really spends most of that time daydreaming and plotting some wild adventure. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her BA in interdisciplinary studies--the most liberal of the liberal arts degrees--majoring in fine art and writing with a minor in women's studies. To say she is motivated by her Right brain is a major understatement. Afflicted with self-diagnosed Sagittarian Attention Deficit Disorder, she spends a lot of time starting projects that she might, possibly, one day, probably finish. When she isn't writing, playing, drawing, painting, or creating something of some sort, she feeds and waters the three dogs that are permanently tethered to her hindquarters. --This text refers to the paperback edition.

Don't expect to weep for these people living through cancer.Reviewed in the United States on 19 January 2018
Was surprised this was not another weepy cancer novel. Don't think that is conveyed well in the synopsis. Happy cheery and positive in the fight against cancer. A bit frustrating in the love angle, kind of wanted to shake the MCs for a repetitive lack of communication. You don't experience the characters falling in love, they already were in love long ago so when they meet again we have to accept that the love was just always there. Not the strongest book I would say I have read by this author, a good solid 3 3/4 stars if I could give that but I have to give it a thumbs up for avoiding the avenue of melodrama where cancer is concerned and treating it as this is life now lets go out there and kick some...
