I love first petson shooters and am a fan of Doom. So this left me just a little let down. The good: Action packed, manic, great graphics and gore! The bad: I found some bits ROCK hard even on easy level, frustratingly so. Maybe I'm getting too old and slow! The ugly: The jumping and grabbing...eurgh. Again, very frustrating. I do not want monkey bars, grabs, ledges or climbing walls. They slow the game down and lets be honest, this isn't a platform game. All the jumping and grabbing feels a little off. And just when you think you've finally sorted the most fiendish grab, jump, zoom and grab along creeps another section :-(
So overall very good just leave the jumping and grabbing to Mario or Mirrors Edge games.

Unfortunately this is not true to the doom series because in the original doom games you did not swing around on monkey bars and climb on things like in a super mario or ratchet and clank game and some of the levels look like their from a ratchet and clank game and the standard punch attack does not do any damage to the enemy so that makes you feel really weak in the game. And the way doom eternal plays is more like the game called Quake.

Extremely hard to play even on the easiest mode

I have trouble playing it. On PS the controller to aim at monsters is not so accurate and the game seems incredibely hard to play even on the easiest mode. I got bored just because is impossible to pass a level without trying it 20 times. Even if I would have loved to play it seems impossible without getting frustrated each time.

It's pretty hard. But I'm not a person who plays games much.
I still prefer the original Doom. I used to play that on my PC and keyboard.

But not bad though. Especially if you are younger and can use the controller's much better than me. I think that's why I'm not a big fan compared to the original Doom and I could use a keyboard to play. For me that makes playing games easier to play.
