Product description

Review

Larky and light, but as always, with more gravitas than you'd suppose. (LITERARY REVIEW)

Lovesey regularly blends the beastly and the blithe in a crafty period delight. (SUNDAY TIMES)

Britain's most distinguished amateur detective returns with another witty romp through the Victorian underworld... hugely enjoyable... keeps its tongue firmly in cheek and rattles along wonderfully. (EASTERN DAILY PRESS)

Jolly japes all round. (OXFORD TIMES)

About the Author
