4.0 out of 5 stars Just about perfect EDC
Reviewed in the United States on 25 February 2018
I would consider this just about as perfect of a EDC knife as my previous EDC ( Rat 1). To be honest my only gripe with this knife is its grip-y scales. Its a grivory base, overmolded with a rubbery texture, in hand its awesome. But trying it get back in my pocket it gets stuck to my pocket. Thats a minor issue along with the recurve on the blade which makes the knife a little harder to resharpen. The came fairly sharp with a rather coarse grind, i resharpened mines immediatly and its a whole lot better now.
Pros:
Great steel ( resharpened: this knife is a razor and holds a great edge)
Smooth action
Fits in pocket really well
Nice in hand feel
Great fit and finish
Has a good weight to it

Cons:
Sticky when trying to get it back into pocket
Recurve is difficult to sharpen
Not a deep carry ( personal preference)
Knife is priced at the higher end of an entry level benchmade

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed with my purchase.

I loved the look, design and feel of this blade. The steel is great and holds a good edge, and I loved the anti slip grip. I loved the grizzly creek but being a diesel field mechanic I did not want to ruin the wood handle of the hunting version of this knife, I also liked that it was orange so I could easily find it if dropped in the field. I loved it Until the grey rubber portion of the handle loosened up and peeled off like a band aid within two weeks of owning the grizzly ridge. I would have also liked another blade shape option because the recurve blade is a bit of a struggle to sharpen, out of fear of ruining the blade i have not mustered up the courage to even atempt sharpening a knife of this price.
