So... just got these in the mail... needed an inexpensive studio pair to replace my Sennheiser HD 650 until I can comfortably drop another $350 on another pair. Decided to take a chance on these in the interim. These are surprisingly clear for the price. Freq range is KILLER for 20 bucks. There's a weird gain reduction at around 7k but it's very brief, and most headphones have a drop somewhere. SUPER flat response. These will work just fine for recording and mixing. They fit surprisingly comfortably. The size adjustments seem rather well designed. If you're looking for extra cans for your recording mates, or are looking to get into mixing/recording on a budget, I say give em a shot. They're really not bad at all... can't believe they're only $20. I've spent WAY more on headsets with much less clarity and lower quality freq response.
My only issue with them is that the flat color of the silver plastic does look a little cheap up close. From 10 feet away, it's fine.
I do live audio and lighting for a living, and am a seasoned recording and mixing engineer, so it's very difficult for gear in this price range to impress me, and these actually did. Nice work Behringer!
