This is the third book in this series and all three have been awesome. Beckett Pearce is also a billionaire from old money and this story is about he and Jenna Blaise. Beckett’s ex best friend Declan was sleeping with Becketts’s wife unbeknownst to him for years. Two years following his divorce he meets up with Jenna who is Declan’s ex-girlfriend. It seems Declan was cheating on her too with Beckett’s wife and many others. Beckett has always been interested in Jenna but never acted upon it. She thinks Beckett is an arrogant arse and wants nothing to do with him😂
This is their story and oh boy every girl needs a Beckett Pearce in their lives❤️❤️❤️❤️. Awesome read👍

I think Beckett wasn't the "in your face" Alpha I was expecting, it was certainly there but he has a more subtle level of alpha bossy. I honestly think he was near perfect and made me swoon all over the place at times, seriously swoon. I loved how he handled things and in particular Jenna, they were so good together.
I liked Jenna throughout pretty much the whole book until she decides to leave him.....um.... no, just no, yes it lasted like 2 days but I was disappointed about that, of course it all works out in the end but it just seemed out of character for her to do that, what ever the reasoning.
I don't know if I would call this an enemy to lovers book as there wasn't really any hostility to their relationship prior, it was more misunderstandings I feel. Still I loved how they worked through their issues and I'm loving how honest these couple are with each other , it really is refreshing to read.
I could go on and on but overall a really great book that I highly recommend, I'm loving escaping with an Alpha!!!

Goodness me *fans self* if you don't want your very own Beckett i suggest you commit yourself to the psych ward to get some serious help. This man. Then we have Jenna. This girl needs no Psych Ward time. She knows the score. The second Beckett flashed his soul, yes his soul! Dirty minds, she knew a good thing when she saw it and girlfriend made sure to lock down that man quick smart! I love a heroine who knows a good thing when she see's it and goes after what she wants. Floved her too!

I adore these two. They're just the perfect match of challenging and compromise. Their communication blew me away. Its not often you read a romance where the couple actually communicate but hoorah! These two do. The kitchen dances made my day! Jenna nearly let me down toward the end but thankfully she backtracked pretty quick because she's a smart smart woman.

Honestly this was such a comfort read. I felt straight at home with these two and i loved that. These books are getting better and better throughout the series. This one is my fave so far. The Epilogues are life! A dream ending to a dream couple! I hope we see more of them in Jameson Fox, the next book in the series. I'm highly anticipating this book because the little snippet at the end we have of Jameson lead me to believe we're gonna have an Alpha-hole on our hands... Gah i love me on of those! Beckett is gonna be hard to beat... cause i'm here for those suits...Can Jameson top it? Can't wait to find out!

As the blurb gives enough away, I won't go into too much detail as to all that happens, what I will say is that once again, it had me right from the start! Told in DUAL POV's, I loved the banter between Jenna and Beckett, their chemistry gradually builds, Jenna's opinion changes as the story develops, it's often hilarious, yet some emotional moments along the way. Nina does write her bossy Alpha's well, and I think that Jenna and Beckett are up there with my other favourite couples she's written, with the addition of side characters that all add to the story, the drama, HOTNESS,(of course) it is easily read as a Standalone, and yet a great addition to the series, and with the set up for the next one, I am looking forward to reading more!

This series continues to amaze me and Beckett & Jenna’s story is no different Nina has written another incredible book….

Beckett on the surface is a wealthy guy one you think is totally into his looks and can get any woman he wants which is true for the most part, but he has a heart which he doesn’t show others to often only those he cares for. Whilst doing a photo shoot he doesn’t want to do he meets Jenna an ex ex friend who quite frankly hates him….

Jenna is a stylist that’s her business and a successful one at that, her family aren’t fully onboard because they don’t see it as good for the family name it’s all important to them…Jenna not so much but can’t seem to tell her parents that. She’s driven to build her brand but an ex boyfriend keeps making things tough for.

The ex boyfriend to Jenna and ex best friend to Beckett could be a fly in the ointment but also what brings them closer….

I enjoyed every minute of this story and can’t wait for the next book 5 star read… ❤️

Not the usual billionaire romance

This was an enjoyable billionaire romance which wasn't in the usual mould for this trope. Beckett, the male main character, was not a typical alpha. He was kind, caring and protective, but also thoughtful and patient, not traits usually associated with hot billionaire alphas. The female lead was no shrinking violet either, making this a coupling of equals, which was refreshing.

I didn't absolutely love it though, and I'm not sure what made it miss the mark for me. Perhaps it was that the steam factor was low for me, even though the two characters had plenty of sex. There wasn't the right level of detail in the writing of the sex scenes for them to come alive and add serious steam to the story.
