What a cracking read! It was well written, with humour, feeling and a good twist towards the end too. It was both touching and naughty enough for me to think twice before recommending it to my mother in law! I also loved the often gritty dialogue, it is just how blokes talk. And it gave me a chuckle to see the phrase "Well, you know what thought did" with the answer that my nan also used.... I won't give it away, read it yourself :)
Well done Megan, for a first novel it was fab - and I look forward to reading more.

About the Author
Megan Isaacs lives happily in the UK with her husband and son. If you asked her about herself she would say she's completely crackers. Always the introvert with an extrovert exterior. A complete mash up of improbabilities. She loves her family, but that goes without saying. She loves reading and tea. Lots and lots of tea. She used to be pretty good shot with a shotgun, but hasn't shot since she was five months pregnant when she beat her husband for the one and only time. Hanging up her barrels seemed like a good idea after that. It's a great story!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 December 2015
I really liked this book, the writing was great, the story was great, the characters were great, however I thought it was too long, it went into to much detail which for me made the mid part of the book a bit boring but I'm glad I stuck with it as the end few chapters were as good as the first half of the book. I believe it is the author's first book and I look forward to more as I like her writing style.
Trashy but very addictive!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 8 January 2016
If you like cheesy, trashy, erotic novels then you will love this. Think Fifty Shades of Grey but nowhere near as classy. The character's are so cliched it's laughable & some of the language used by the main male character is vile...but something makes you want to keep reading it. It is addictive & that's why I gave it three stars.

Great read and great storyline and characters they all had to go through a lot to get what they really wanted and needed
